Big Sky season 2 is in full swing, and this one scene really shows why Jenny and Cassie are great partners. With so much going on with the both of them this season, it’s always nice to see them working together. The two started the show as private detectives, but things have changed.
In the scene, Jenny is struggling with her relationship. The two talk it out over ice cream and liquor, but even in such a sweet, emotional moment, they wind up talking about the case.
“It makes sense why you want to protect your heart. I think you need to figure out if he’s worth the risk,” Cassie advises. Two seconds later, they are talking about the case and a keychain found at the crime scene.
In most TV shows following investigators who are partners, they just happen to be friends. But Cassie and Jenny’s partnership clearly works so well because they are friends.
It’s also crazy to reflect on how far they’ve come. The first episode saw them fighting over a guy. Now they’re happily talking about relationships.
Jenny Fully Realized Her Feelings for Travis in the One of the Latest ‘Big Sky’ Episodes
This clip of Cassie and Jenny is just the tip of the iceberg for Jenny’s Travis-related woes.
“This is the episode where she realizes her feelings are more involved. She needs to do whatever it takes to make sure he’s OK, and even use her badge to cross the lines of the law to hopefully find him. She is on the hunt,” Jenny actress Katheryn Winnick said of the sixth episode.
Unfortunately, Travis is still in hot water and fans are nervous. It would be absolutely devastating for Jenny if something happened to him. One of the major inciting incidents of last season was the murder of the man she loved, so the idea of losing someone again is hard to fathom.
There’s also some evidence surfacing that there may be more to Travis than meets the eye. It looks like he may not be who Jenny thinks he is, and this could pose danger to both her and Cassie. Cassie’s words about Jenny deciding whether or not to trust him are really ringing true.
Big Sky is taking a break for Thanksgiving, however, and won’t be back until after the holiday. Unfortunately, this means it’ll be a bit before we learn more about Travis’s fate and who he really is. The usually show airs on Thursday nights at 8/7 CT and streams on Hulu and ABC’s website. If you want to catch up on old episodes during the break, the whole show is available through both services.
