‘Big Sky’ Season 2 Airing on New Night: How to Watch

by Joe Rutland

When fans of “Big Sky” start looking for its Season 2 opening show, they will have to stretch their eyes a little bit for another night.

Yes, the David E. Kelley-created show can be seen on Thursdays, starting on Sept. 30 at 9 p.m. Eastern, 8 p.m. Central. “Big Sky” will, once again, star Katheryn Winnick and Kylie Bunbury as Jennie Hoyt and Cassie Dewell, respectively.

Speaking of Winnick, she went to Instagram and shared this news with the public.

Yes sir, “Big Sky” will feature these two stars at the center of its drama. Not so fast, though. Ronald Pergman is back out on the prowl, too. Pergman, played by Brian Geraghty, is a trucker who gets caught up in a series of kidnappings. He’s the one behind a number of those actions.

While there is no definite episode he’ll return to in Season 2, John Carroll Lynch returns as Montana Highway Patrol officer Rick Legarski. You might be saying, “Wait a minute, Legarski is dead.” That’s right, Legarski was shot during the show’s first season. But he is going to appear in the second season of the ABC drama. How and when “Big Sky” reveals him coming back is a secret you will have to tune in and find out when that happens.

Among the show’s new cast members for Season 2 is Logan Marshall-Green. He’ll play Travis, someone who has a bit of a past with Cassie. How Travis, an undercover cop working to end a local drug ring, shows up and makes his presence felt on “Big Sky” will be something to watch.

‘Big Sky’ Packing Show With Quite A Roster Of New Cast Members

This show’s second season will include more episodes filled with mystery. Don’t expect to see any Kleinsassers on it, though. They all were killed off last season.

Make your plans now to watch “Big Sky” again on ABC. The drama had trouble getting an audience to watch at times. But ratings were good enough for the network to order up another season.

We mentioned above about Logan Marshall-Green joining “Big Sky” this season. He’s not the only star, though, that’ll brighten up the TV screens for the drama.

Jamie-Lynn Sigler, known by millions for her work on the HBO hit series “The Sopranos,” plays a waitress named Tonya this season. Now Tonya is a waitress at a local diner. Nothing big there, right? Hold up. Sigler, who played Meadow Soprano, will have a boyfriend alongside her role as Tonya. A big future is in the works for the couple but all bets are off.

See, the boyfriend mysteriously disappears. Yet another drama within the drama for fans to watch.
