Time flies doesn’t it? It’s hard to believe that Bindi Irwin’s daughter is already five months old. But she is, and Bindi has the adorable pictures to prove it.
A Bindi Irwin post can usually brighten anyone’s day. The 23-year-old new mom is always engaging with her fans, and showcasing her life at the beautiful Australia Zoo. Many people probably still recognize Bindi as a little girl herself — after all, she is the daughter of the famous and beloved Crocodile Hunter Steve Irwin.
However, Bindi is all grown up now. She and her husband Chandler Powell welcomed their daughter, Grace Warrior Irwin Powell, into the world back on March 25. With the birth of their daughter, that date became even more special. It’s also the same date as the couple’s first wedding anniversary.
Can you believe it? Little Grace Warrior was born back in March! That officially makes her five months old. And her proud mama took to social media to document the milestone on Tuesday evening’ with several cute pictures. Baby Grace looks like she is living her best life. She’s all smiles while she relaxes in a fold-out chair in the sand. Take a look at the adorable snaps down below:
“Our Grace Warrior is 5 months old,” Irwin wrote alongside the photos. “She loves being outside on adventures with us, cuddling up to hear a good story, feeling/grabbing everything around her, and giggling. Every day she reminds us of the magic in even the simplest of things.”
As they usually are, fans of Bindi Irwin were gushing over her latest pictures of her daughter.
“Happy five months beautiful Grace Warrior!!! You are pure magic,” one person commented.
“She is just so adorable!” another fan said.
Bindi Irwin Explains the Meaning Behind Her Daughter’s Name
After giving birth to her daughter back in March, Bindi Irwin officially announced the baby’s name and the meaning behind it. She went into detail about how Grace’s name honors members of both her and Powell’s families.
That includes, of course, Bindi’s late father, the beloved Steve Irwin. Steve, unfortunately, was killed back in 2006 while he was part of a diving expedition off the coast of Australia. He was 44 and his daughter Bindi was just eight years old at the time.
“Our graceful warrior is the most beautiful light,” she wrote after giving birth. “Grace is named after my great-grandmother, and relatives in Chandler’s family dating back to the 1700s. Her middle names, Warrior Irwin, are a tribute to my dad and his legacy as the most incredible Wildlife Warrior. Her last name is Powell and she already has such a kind soul just like her dad.”
