Bindi Irwin, like the rest of her family, is totally comfortable hanging out with all kinds of different animals. But there are a few that she holds close to her heart.
Bindi seems to have a special fondness for one dog, in particular. It belongs to the family of her husband, Chandler Powell, and looks so stinking cute. The wildlife conservationist posted a sweet snap on Instagram with the furry friend earlier today, remembering fond times with Chandler’s family.
“Missing Chandler’s sweet family in Florida and kisses from Cocoa. 🤎 This photo was taken exactly two years ago,” Bindi Irwin captioned the post.
In the last two years, Bindi and Chandler likely haven’t visited his family in Florida. They might have visited around the holidays in 2019, but when the pandemic hit in March 2020, the Powells likely couldn’t fly out to Australia to see the couple. Not even when the pair’s first child, Grace Warrior, was born on March 25, 2020.
Hopefully, with vaccination rates up since March, the adorable family can take a trip out to visit Chandler’s family this Christmas. They likely can’t wait to meet their granddaughter, and Bindi Irwin can’t wait for more kisses from Cocoa.
Bindi Irwin and Family Introduce Grace Warrior to Her First Christmas Tree
You can’t deny that Bindi Irwin and Chandler Powell’s baby, Grace Warrior, is one of the cutest eight-month-olds out there. But she looked even more precious in a video Bindi posted earlier today.
The video featured Grace seeing their family Christmas tree for the first time. When Bindi walks into the room with Grace, the baby’s face lights up with sheer joy and wonder. Bindi sets her down on the floor so she can explore the branches on her own, prompting the family pug to kiss her.
Chandler also holds Grace up so she can look around in wide-eyed wonder. Her face is just absolutely precious throughout the whole video, as she bounces tree branches and touches ornaments. You can tell Bindi and Chandler are overwhelmed with love too.
“Grace woke up to her very first Christmas tree in our house. I’m crying tears of happiness as I write this. ❤️,” Bindi Irwin captioned her post. With Michael Buble’s “Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas” playing in the background, it’s hard not to get a little teary-eyed.
Chandler also commented on the post, “The sweetest little moments❤️,” while Bindi’s brother, Robert, said, “This. Makes. Me. So. Happy.”
We’re so happy to see the family so close and spending so much quality time together this holiday season.
