Bindi Irwin Poses with Her Mom for a Selfie Thanking Her for Being ‘An Amazing Mama’ and Grandmother

Many of us are fortunate enough to have people in our lives who support us and love us. These people – be they our friends or our family – hold special places in our hearts. They are there for us in times of joy and in times of sorrow. Bindi Irwin has such a person in her life.

And, unsurprisingly, that person is her mother, Terri Irwin. Terri raised Bindi and her brother, Robert Irwin, after her father passed away. Her father, of course, was Steve Irwin. He is more famously known as the “Crocodile Hunter.”

On Thursday, Oct. 7, Bindi Irwin took to social media to praise her mother, Terri, for all she has done – and continues to do in her life. Bindi also expressed her appreciation for what her mother has done – and continues to do – for her daughter, Grace Warrior. The post also included the nickname Bindi and company use when referring to Terri around Grace Warrior. That nickname is “bunny.”

“Thank you for being such an amazing mama to me and the greatest bunny to beautiful Grace Warrior,” Bindi posted on Instagram.

Next, Bindi Irwin shared just have much she values her mother’s love. “Your support and love means more to us than we can describe,” the daughter of Steve Irwin also shared.

The 23-year-old Australia native closed her post with some very sweet words for her mother. “I love you with all my heart,” she also said.

In addition to her tribute to her mother, Terri, Bindi also shared a very sweet selfie of the two of them smiling together. You can check out Bindi Irwin’s social media post praising her mother, Terri, below.

Bindi Irwin Has Also Paid Tribute to Her Father On Social Media

Her mother, Terri Irwin, isn’t the only parent Bindi Irwin has talked about on social media. Unsurprisingly, Steve Irwin, her famous father and the “Crocodile Hunter,” has also been the focus of her posts on Instagram.

For example, during early September 2021, Bindi shared a photo of her adorable daughter as well as one of herself as a child with Steve Irwin. In the accompanying post, the 23-year-old reflected on the loss of the “Crocodile Hunter” more than a decade ago. Needless to say, Bindi wishes her father was around to meet his granddaughter.

Bindi is not letting her daughter grow up without learning about Steve Irwin. In fact, she is showing Grace Warrior videos of his work.

“This sweetheart has been watching her ‘Grandpa Crocodile’ on the projector at our camp here on the Steve Irwin Wildlife Reserve. She lights up when she sees him on screen,” Bindi also shared. “I wish with all my heart that Dad could hug my beautiful girl. It’s been 15 years since he passed away. I hold on to the thought that he’s her guardian angel now, watching over the most special part of my life, Grace Warrior.”
