‘Blue Bloods’ Actor Bridget Moynahan Has a ‘Sheepadoodle’ and She Sounds Like the Cutest Dog Ever

Blue Bloods star Bridget Moynahan’s home may be full of guys, but her dog isn’t one of them!

“When we got a dog I said, ‘No more,’” Moynahan jokes about her male-heavy family during an appearance on the hit daytime talk show, Live with Kelly and Ryan

“There’s a lot of guys in my house,” the Blue Bloods actress said with a laugh. “A lot of sons!”

So, when Moynahan and her family added a furry companion to their household – a shibadoodle to be specific – Bridget Moynahan had only one request. “It’s gotta be a girl!” she joked on the daytime morning talk show.

For an example of what a shibadoodle looks like, check out the tweet below!

Tom Brady and Bridget Moynahan Share a Son, Jack

Moynahan has one son, John Edward Thomas (Jack) Moynahan with footballer Tom Brady. Her husband, Andrew Frankel has three sons of his own. Bridget Moynahan and Tom Brady began dating in 2004.

By 2006, however, the Hollywood actress and the football quarterback called it quits. Moynahan gave birth to their son, Jack in 2007.

In 2010, Bridget Moynahan joined the cast of CBS’s hit series, Blue Bloods. Moynahan plays Erin Reagan the only daughter of Frank Reagan. In the crime drama, Moynahan plays the second child of the Reagan clan.

While Erin’s father and brothers each serve the city on the New York City Police force, Erin found her own path in the law enforcement field through the legal angle, serving as New York CIty’s assistant district attorney.

With So Many Boys At Home, Moynahan Enjoys Her Shibadoodle

Much like her character, assistant district attorney, Erin Reagan, Moynahan finds herself in a home that is typically full of boys.

“There are too many boys,” the actress joked while appearing on Live, With Kelly and Ryan

During the interview, Moynahan noted that it is nice to have some female company in her home full of testosterone.

“She’s very fluffy and beautiful,” Moynahan said of her pup.

Moynahan added during the interview that while she isn’t overly concerned about grooming the fuzzy canine perfectly, she sometimes gets an unexpected makeover.

“We took her to the groomer a week after Westminster Dog show and I just wanted her feet to be trimmed,” the actress noted. “She came back beautifully groomed with pom-poms on her tail, and a big mane,” she joked. “It was weird.”
