In fact, there are some “Blue Bloods” fans who are shipping Danny and Maria. This means these fans want to see the relationship between the two detectives become romantic.
In addition to the friendly relationship Reagan and Baez have on screen, the actors who portray those popular characters are close behind the scenes. They are so close, in fact, that Marisa Ramirez shared a special birthday message with Donnie Wahlberg from the set of “Blue Bloods” on Tuesday, Aug. 17. The Instagram post shows the costars and friends wearing matching masks as they have their arms around one another.
“Happy Birthday to my partner in fighting crime @donniewahlberg,” Ramirez said at the beginning of her social media message to her famous costar.
The actress then expressed how much she enjoys being around Wahlberg. She also shared how she wished he didn’t have to work on his birthday.
“Grateful everyday for you and your light! Sorry we are working but at least we are laughing!!! Love you my friend!!” Ramirez also posted on Instagram.
Another ‘Blue Bloods’ Star Shared Birthday Wishes with Donnie Wahlberg
Actress Marisa Ramirez isn’t the only “Blue Bloods” star who has sent well-wishes to Donnie Wahlberg on his birthday. By the way, the actor and New Kids on the Block Star turned 52 years old on Aug. 17, 2021.
Actress Bridget Moynahan, who plays Wahlberg’s sister, Erin Reagan in the show, also shared a special birthday message with the Danny Reagan actor. “Happy Birthday, @donniewahlberg. Love you Brother D!” Moynahan shared on Instagram.
This message from Moynahan didn’t go unnoticed by Wahlberg. And, he responded in the comments section of her post. “Love you too sis! So much. Thankful for you,” he shared.
Unsurprisingly, Jenny McCarthy, the wife of “Blue Bloods” star Donnie Wahlberg also publically wished her husband a happy birthday.
“Happy Birthday to THE sexiest 52 yr old in the world. Even though you’re hot AF, that’s just the cherry on top.
