Between Danny and Anthony teaming up and Eddie about to nuke her new partner, Blue Bloods was quite busy on Friday night.

We’ll get an assist from Celebrity Laundry in offering details around Reality Check.

But we start out with Erin Reagan, played by Bridget Moynahan, and her on-again, off-again decision around running for Manhattan District Attorney.

Erin turned to an old friend, Lisa, whose run successful political campaigns. They have been friends since law school.

Erin is a known figure. She’s a Reagan. Her father is Police Commissioner Frank Reagan, played by Tom Selleck. Frank just went on record disowning a group of former cops who want extremism used against protestors. The group is calling Frank a “traitor.”

‘Blue Bloods’ Finds Frank Having To Deal with Group Using His Image, Voice

He was meeting with the “dream team” on Blue Bloods and was warned not to make a comment. But he did because Frank hated people using his image and videos of him taken out of context. Frank was facing pushback. He needed to fight back against it and his team was figuring out his correct response while Erin was considering her political run.

Erin and Lisa talked about any skeletons in the closet. So, Erin didn’t have any and she didn’t have any because she didn’t have a life. Erin is a beautiful woman who lives alone and doesn’t date. No one was going to believe that Erin doesn’t date. They were going to suspect she was hiding something.

But the only guy that she’s been around for a bit is Anthony Abetemarco, played by Steve Scirripa. He is one of her best friends and a co-worker.

Anthony Gets Danny To Help Him Save His Cousin Joey From Sure Death

Anthony couldn’t be her sounding board on her possible run. Why? Anthony finds himself teaming up with Danny Reagan, played by Donnie Wahlberg, to help his cousin, Joey.

See, on Blue Bloods, Joey was supposed to be laundering money for the Double Treys and he lost their investment with a risky move into cryptocurrency. The ruthless gang was going to want him dead for losing their money. Joey turned to Anthony for help and Anthony roped in Danny. The two men were going to help bring down the assassin before Anthony’s cousin could be killed.

Meanwhile, Eddie, played by Vanessa Ray, has about had it with her new partner Luis Badillo, played by Ian Quinlan. She ends up going to see Jamie, her husband, and Sergeant, played by Will Estes.

In essence, Jamie told Eddie to get over it and keep working with Badillo.

His problems stem from seeing his previous partner killed in front of him, so he doesn’t want to get attached.
