Taking time away from the set of her hit CBS series Blue Bloods, Sami Gayle shared new snapshots of her latest adventure in Iceland – an ice-cold cruise.
“On the rocks.” Sami captions the pics, with one snap featuring the actress bundled up while sitting in a boat sounded by icebergs. She also is holding ice in the second picture.
Sami Gayle previously revealed that she is currently on vacation with her brother and his best friend in Iceland. She took to Instagram on Tuesday to share more pictures of her trip, including a view of the breathing Iceland mountains.
“I love SPONTANEITY,” Sami states in the post.“Some of the best moments of my life were born from an impulsive decision – a last minute trip, an instinct to go somewhere I otherwise would not, etc. So earlier this week, when my brother asked me if I wanted to come with him and his best friend to Iceland, I immediately said yes and was on a plane a couple days later.”
Sami then adds, “And, as you’ll see in my [Instagram] stories, it was absolutely the right choice. When opportunity knocks – if it’s feasible – open the door. You never know what you might find, see, and learn.”
Sami Gayle Talks ‘Blue Bloods’ Family and Teenage Expectations
In a 2018 interview with HollywoodLife, Sami Gayle shares details about her Blue Bloods family. ‘I’m lucky to have a second mother in Bridget [Moynahan], and a grandfather in Tom [Selleck], and an uncle in Donnie [Wahlberg], who is the most fun person on the planet,” Sami explains. “To have that second family of support as I navigate, not only that world of the entertainment business but also becoming a young woman, going to college. [Her co-stars] have been integral in my development as a person.”
Also while discussing her film, Candy Jar, Sami shares her thoughts about expectations during her teenage years. “I think oftentimes as teenagers transition into young adults, we’re driven by expectations placed upon us by our parents, our teachers, and our peers, and we forget about our own interest,” she says. ”We need to carve path for ourselves, and tend to our emotional wellbeing, even if that means deviating from the path that we had planned to take.”
Blue Bloods is returning for its twelfth season. CBS announced the show’s renewal along with its other shows Bull, NCIS, Magnum P.I., and S.W.A.T. The network has yet to announce Blue Blood’s new season’s premiere date. Sami stars alongside Bridget, Tom, and Donnie in the series, as well as Will Estes, Amy Carlson, and Vanessa Ray. The show follows the Reagans, which is a family of NYPD cops who live in New York City.
