‘Blue Bloods’ Star Donnie Wahlberg Celebrates Monday with Majestic City Skyline Pic

“Blue Bloods” star Donnie Wahlberg likes to appreciate the small moments in life that we too often overlook.

Whether it be a moment of gratitude, a sweet smile, or a spectacular sunrise, Wahlberg pays attention to all of it. He tries to focus on the positives in life, not taking a single second of any day for granted.

The “Blue Bloods” star likes to share his reflections with his followers on Twitter, aka his “Blockhead family.” The name “Blockhead” comes from Wahlberg’s boy band New Kids on the Block, which is still putting out new music.

Earlier this morning, Wahlberg treated his Blockheads to a gorgeous sunrise picture that features the New York City skyline. The colors, clouds, and outline of the city look absolutely breathtaking. Wahlberg accompanied the picture with a few simple but insightful words.

“Hello, Monday. I’m so happy to see you. Now, let’s get this sh*t popping! #MondayMotivation,” Wahlberg captioned the post.

Pretty sure a view that gorgeous could inspire anyone to get out of bed and go seize the day. We wouldn’t want to miss a sight like that in our own lives, no matter where we are in the world.

And it seems like people from all over are chiming in on the “Blue Bloods” star’s post. Those here in North America got to see Wahberg’s message around 10 a.m. EST this morning, but several fans from England and Germany chimed in as well from later in the day for their timezones.

“Dearest Donnie, Thank you for the #MondayMotivation,” a fan named Lisa Marie wrote. “Been hard at work today. It is now nearly 4.30 pm here in London so I have had this sh*t popping for a while now. Love ya!”

‘Blue Bloods’ Gears Up for Season 12 Premiere This Week

We can’t wait to see Donnie Wahlberg, Tom Selleck, Bridget Moynahan, and all the rest of our favorites on our screens this week when”Blue Bloods” returns. The Season 12 premiere drops at 10 p.m. EST on Friday, Oct. 1 on CBS.

The show keeps hyping fans up with little sneak peeks and countdowns to the premiere. Last week, the show posted a short clip to the official “Blue Bloods” Twitter account to prepare for the new season.

“Above everything else, we’re family. The NEW season of #BlueBloods returns Friday, October 1st — see you at the dinner table,” the show captioned the post.

The video shows some action sequences, some softer moments, and an important conversation around the iconic Reagan family dinner table. Their conversation centers on combating all the hate in the world, which Tom Selleck’s character Frank Reagan says can be fought with “talk and listening.” Open communication must be a key theme for this new season.
