You can always count on “Blue Bloods” star Donnie Wahlberg for some Monday Motivation. His constant updates and messages of positivity easily brighten up a person’s day when it’s otherwise looking dreary.
The actor and singer took to Twitter earlier today to share some love and encouragement with his fans, or “Blockheads,” as he calls them. Wahlberg likes to remind his Blockhead Family that they’re always on his mind and that he’s there for them with words of wisdom and encouragement.
The “Blue Bloods” star’s latest post reads almost like a letter. “Hello Monday, So #thankful for you and incredibly happy to see you. Now, let’s get this sh*t popping. Sincerely, Donald #MondayMotivation,” the post reads. It also features a gorgeous pic of Wahlberg grinning and standing in front of the New York City skyline. Have you ever seen a happier sight?
Wahlberg’s fans haven’t. They quickly took to the comments to thank the “Blue Bloods” star for his kind message.
“Dear Monday, Thanks for letting me see Donnie’s tweet today & thank you for letting him be a part of our lives & I’m always #Thankful for Donnie & will always be a #ProudDonnieGirl have an awesome day, Sincerely Kristen,” one Blockhead wrote.
“Love and miss you big brother, but love seeing that smile. It’s contagious and it made my day. I can’t wait to hug you in person. For now, this will have to do, I hope you feel it,” another Blockhead wrote, also posting a picture of the two hugging.
Twitter user April Bamburg said, “Donnie says it perfectly on this less than lovely looking Monday. Let’s get this sh*t poppin!”
It has been a rather dreary Monday, even in New York from the looks of the “Blue Bloods” star’s pic. But he’s making the most of it.
‘Blue Bloods’ Star Donnie Wahlberg Celebrates ‘National Donnie Day’
“Blue Bloods” star Donnie Wahlberg didn’t even know about National Donnie Day. When he woke up on Friday, Oct. 22, he expected to see tweets about “Blue Bloods” premiering that night, not a day dedicated to him and all the other Donnie’s out there.
But the actor soon got the memo and tweeted out his disbelief to all his fans. “Ummmm … is this really a thing? #NationalDonnieDay? How could I not know this?? I’m the most Donnie Donnie of any Donnie in the history of Donnie’s! ps — @donnyosmond and @marieosmond both rock,” Wahlberg wrote.
After a while, he followed up his initial tweet with more updates on how National Donnie Day trended on Twitter. It started out at the 13th spot, then moved up to 6th, 4th, and eventually 2nd on Twitter’s overall trending list.
Wahlberg credited his fans with the trending hashtag. “Because who’s better than the #Blockhead Fam?” he wrote in one tweet.
