Trying to bring a little brightness into her fans’ lives, “Blue Bloods” star Sami Gayle showed off her puppy in a new social media snap.

Gayle, who plays Nicky Reagan-Boyle on the CBS police drama, offered up this sweet photo through her Instagram account. Take a look and get ready to feel a lot of warm fuzzies.

Aw, isn’t that cute! Oh come on, Outsiders, you love your dogs, too.

Gayle has been on “Blue Bloods” since its first season. She was a recurring character in that first season, then joined the regular cast in seasons 2-10. Last season, Gayle made a guest appearance after her character had accepted a job in San Francisco and moved to the West Coast.

‘Blue Bloods’ Regular Made Guest Appearance Last Season

Obviously, “Blue Bloods” fans know that the show is filmed in New York City. Whether she returns as a regular on the CBS police drama or will make a guest appearance in the upcoming 12th season remains to be seen.

What we can tell you is that filming is underway for the 12th season. Expect the regular cast, led by Tom Selleck, to show up.

Selleck plays NYPD Commissioner Frank Reagan and is at the head of the Reagan dinner table. At the other end sits Len Cariou, who plays Retired NYPD Commissioner Henry Reagan. You’ll find Bridget Moynahan, who plays Assistant District Attorney Erin Reagan (Nicky’s mom), and Donnie Wahlberg, who plays Detective Danny Reagan, sitting somewhere at the important Reagan dinner table.

“Blue Bloods” can be seen on Friday nights at 10 p.m. Eastern, 9 p.m. Central, on CBS this fall.

Vanessa Ray Finds Comfort Hanging Around Bridget Moynahan

Speaking of Moynahan, there is one of her co-stars on “Blue Bloods” that definitely sees her in an interesting way.

Vanessa Ray, who plays Officer Eddie Janko-Reagan, enjoys being around Moynahan on the set. Ray talked about Moynahan’s presence during a 2018 interview with Long Island Weekly.

“Coming into this very established family, they have a laundry list of inside jokes and they really wanted to catch me up on all of them,” Ray said. “It’s a very playful room.

“I was obviously intimidated and nervous the first couple of times going to family dinner, but I immediately felt welcomed,” Ray said of the “Blue Bloods” cast. “There really is such a family aspect to it. I’m really fortunate to get to sit with Bridget [Moynahan], who is like the big sister I’ve always wanted.”

So if you see Ray and Moynahan sitting together at the Reagan dinner table, then you’ll know that Ray is all good with the set-up.
