In addition to sharing their lives together for many years, “Blue Bloods” star Tom Selleck and his wife, Jillie Mack, have also shared the small screen together. They did so in episodes of his hit 1980s drama series, “Magnum, P.I.”

As most television fans are aware, Selleck played the private investigator Thomas Magnum who worked out of Oahu, Hawaii. According to Country Thang Daily, Mack appeared in two episodes of the long-running series. One, which was titled “Rembrandt’s Girl,” aired in 1984. The other, which was titled “Professor Jonathan Higgins,” aired in 1985.

In “Rembrandt’s Girl,” Jillie Mack was cast in the role of an English girl at a party. She was cast as the character of Sally Ponting in “Professor Jonathan Higgins.” Being cast as an “English girl” shouldn’t be all that surprising. Mack was born in Devizes, Wiltshire, England, on Dec. 25, 1957.

According to IMDb, these episodes of “Magnum, P.I.” aired a few years before Tom Selleck and Jillie Mack married and more than two decades before “Blue Bloods” premiered on CBS in 2010. They were wed on Aug. 7, 1987, in a secret ceremony. In an effort to maintain their privacy, they went into the wedding under aliases. Selleck’s was Tom Jenkins. Mack’s was Suzie Mark. The wedding was so secret that the pastor who married them wasn’t aware of who they actually were until the time the wedding was about to take place.

Jillie Mack made the decision to put her acting career on hold after she became pregnant with her and Tom Selleck’s child. This child is their daughter, Hannah Selleck. She was born in 1989.

Here’s a Little More Information About the Wife of ‘Blue Bloods’ Star Tom Selleck

Jillie Mack’s filmography is not as extensive as her famous “Blue Bloods” star husband’s, she does have several interesting credits to her name. One of those is as the character of Rumpleteazer in the wildly popular Andrew Lloyd Webber musical, “Cats.”

Interestingly, it was while she was appearing in this famous musical that she met Tom Selleck. The future “Blue Bloods” star attended a performance of “Cats” in London and was quickly smitten with Jillie Mack. So after the show was over, he decided to ask her out. Unsurprisingly, she accepted and they eventually fell in love.

In addition to appearing on “Magnum, P.I.” and in “Cats,” the wife of “Blue Bloods” star Tom Selleck has appeared in several popular television shows. These include “The Wizard,” “Tales from the Darkside,” “Encyclopedia Brown,” “Frasier,” and “ER.”
