Bob Odenkirk’s Son Nate Updates on His Condition after Collapsing on ‘Better Call Saul’ Set

Nate Odenkirk, the son of Better Call Saul star Bob Odenkirk, took to his Twitter account with an update on the actor’s condition after he collapsed on set. 

“He’s going to be ok,” Nate writes about his father’s condition in his latest tweet. 

As previously reported, Bob Odenkirk was reportedly rushed to the hospital on Tuesday (July 27th) after he collapsed on the set of Better Call Saul. According to various reports, paramedics were called at 11:34 a.m. due to the medical emergency. He was transported to a hospital in Albuquerque.

According to a statement from Bob Odenkirk’s reps obtained by the Hollywood Reporter, the actor is now in stable condition after experiencing a heart-related incident. “He and his family would like to express gratitude for the incredible doctors and nurses looking after him. As well as his cast, crew, and producers who have stayed by his side.”

Bob Odenkirk’s reps also state that his family would also like to thank everyone for the outpouring of well wishes. They ask for privacy at this time as Bob works on his recovery. 

‘Better Call Saul’ & ‘Breaking Bad’ Co-Stars Announce Support of Bob Odenkirk Following Medical Emergency

Following the incident, co-stars of Better Call Saul David Cross and Michale McKean spoke about Bob Odenkirk’s situation. Cross took to his Twitter and states, “I will share what I know when I can. But Bob is one of the strongest people I know both physically and spiritually. He WILL get through this.”

McKean also showed support for Bob Odenkirk by tweeting, “Sending huge love to our @mrbobodenkirk. You got this, brother.”

Breaking Bad co-stars Bryan Cranston and Aaron Paul also spoke out about the situation. Cranston writes on Instagram, “Today I woke up to news that has made me anxious all morning. My friend, Bob Odenkirk collapsed last night on the set of Better Call Saul. He is in the hospital in Albuquerque and receiving the medical attention he needs but his condition is not known to the public as yet. Please take a moment in your day today to think about him and send positive thoughts and prayers his way, thank you.”

Aaron Paul adds, “I love you my friend.” 

Bob Prepares For Final Season of ‘Better Call Saul’

Bob Odenkirk is currently preparing for the sixth and final season of Better Call Saul. The show, which is a spin-off of the hit series Breaking Bad, premiered in February 2015. Bob reprised his role as Saul Goodman, a crooked strip mall lawyer who represents Walt White and White’s meth-making partner Jesse. 

During its six-year run, Bob’s Odenkirk’s Better Call Saul has achieved various awards, including 21 Primetime Emmy Awards, eleven Writers Guild Of America Awards, five Critics’ Choice Television Awards, and four Screen Actor Guild Awards.
