Brad Pitt’s New Racing Film is Causing a Hollywood Bidding War

A new untitled racing firm that is being directed by Top Gun: Maverick director Joseph Kosinski and starring Brad Pitt is reportedly causing a huge bidding war in Hollywood.

According to Deadline, an apparent bidding war kicked off among Hollywood’s major studios for the racing film. The media outlet revealed that along with Brad Pitt, the movie will have Ehren Kruger and Jerry Bruckheimer as well. 

However, there has yet to be any information about the untitled film’s plot. But Deadline reports that British Formula One driver, Lewis Hamilton, is going to participate in the production. Paramount notably joined into the bidding war along with MGM, Sony, Universal, Disney, Netflix, Apple, and Amazon.  

Along with the racing film, Brad Pitt has a series of filming projects that he is now working on. He is an executive producer for the TV series The Three-Body Problem. The storyline reads, “Humanity’s first contact with an alien civilization.”

Brad Pitt will also be producing Landscape With Invisible Hand; Black Hole; Wrong Answer; Untitled Chris Cornell Documentary; and the TV series Americanah. Meanwhile, Pitt will be in the upcoming films Lost City of D, Bullet Train, and Babylon. All three films are going to make their debut in 2022.

Brad Pitt Discusses the Mistakes He’s Made in His Acting Career 

During an interview with The New York Times, Brad Pitt opened up about the mistakes he’s made throughout his acting career. “No, it wasn’t Troy,” Pitt declared. “It was another thing. But that really made me, I’m following my gut from here on out.”

Brad Pitt then shared that he had to do Troy because he pulled out of another movie and had to do something for the studio. “So I put in Troy. It wasn’t painful, but I realized that the way that movie was being told was not how I wanted it to be. I made my own mistakes in it.”

While chatting about his acting in comedy films, Brad Pitt discussed his role in the film California.

“It’s kind of a B film. But it was important for me. I was going against the things I was getting at the time. I got to do character work in it. And there’s humor laid in there too. I’ve gotten to do a few comedies. They’ve just been subtle I’m better at behavioral comedy than jokes.”

When asked about how he hands criticism and discussions about his career, Brad Pitt stated that doesn’t go out of his way to avoid it.

“I just don’t seek it out. I don’t know how many women they’ve said I’ve been dating the last two or three years; and none of it’s true. I just flashed on something. But maybe it doesn’t mean anything.”
