Candace Cameron Bure relived clapping back at critics over her “inappropriate” Instagram post featuring her and her husband, Val Bure. The “Fuller House” mom went on Entertainment Tonight to discuss her comments following the backlash she received after she posted a photo of her husband with his hand over her breast. “On one of the girls,” she jokingly told host Cheryl Hickey.

“I had no idea it was going to get this huge reaction,” she said in the video. “Both criticism and a ton of love and positivity.”

Cameron Bure said she has no regrets from posting the photo. She said she was happy to show her 4.5 million Instagram followers that a couple married for 24 years “can still have some spice and sexiness.”

Aside from laughing off the negative commenters who said the post was inappropriate, Cameron Bure said she got a genuine laugh from her former TV dad on the subject. Bob Saget commented on the photo: “Love you guys and congrats on second base!!!”

The couple has been married since 1996 and shares three kids together. A former professional hockey player, Val Bure played for 10 seasons in the NHL.

Candice Cameron Bure strikes back

Candace Cameron Bure removed the original upload of the photo from her Instagram page, but she later re-uploaded it following an outpouring of support.

“For all of the Christians that are questioning my post with my husband’s hand on my boob — my husband of 24 years — thinking it was inappropriate, it makes me laugh because it’s my husband. We have so much fun together,” Cameron Bure said to The Daily Mail.

Cameron Bure said she was annoyed that they would judge someone else’s marriage. She told TMZ she is tired of talking about the photo, as she’s doesn’t know why it went viral in the first place.

“He can touch me any time he wants, and I hope he does,” Candace Cameron Bure said. “This is what a healthy, good marriage and relationship is all about.”

Cameron Bure is famous for playing DJ Tanner in “Full House.” She reprised the role on the Netflix sequel, which recently finished its last season. Cameron Bure has kept busy, spending time with family and also shooting two Hallmark films in Canada.
