Candace Cameron Bure on Meeting Husband, Valeri

Those of you who enjoy the Teagarden Mysteries probably know how Bure met and fell in love with her on-screen love, Nick Miller. But do you know how she met her real-life husband?

Apparently, her Full House co-stars introduced her to her soul mate and former NHL player, Valeri Bure.

The couple, who just celebrated their 25th wedding anniversary, met in 1994. Candace was only 19 at the time, and she was nearing the end of her career on “Full House.” Castmate Dave Coulier (Joey Gladstone) invited her to join him, Bob Saget (Danny Tanner), and Lori Laughlin (Becky Katsopolis) to a charity hockey game. She met Valeri after the game, and their fate was sealed. Candace Cameron Bure and Valeri Bure married two years later.

There is Still Passion in the Bure Marriage

Even after 25 years, the passion is still alive in the Bure marriage. They’re still holding hands and kissing whenever they see fit. They even regularly post PDA pics on social media. And as the Fuller House star recently revealed, their kids hate it.

While interviewing with US Weekly, Cameron noted that she tries to tone down her PDAs with her husband, Valeri—because she understands why her kids don’t want to see their parents being mushy. But she admitted that sometimes the couple likes to “very innocently tease them with kissing and stuff, and they’re like ‘please take it somewhere else.
