Candace Cameron Bure Shares Her Marriage Secrets

Candace Cameron Bure also took to Instagram to celebrate her 25 years anniversary with her husband, former hockey player Valeri Bure while also sharing her key advice on marriage. The couple was notably introduced by her Full House co-star, Dave Coulier, at a charity hockey game. They were married on June 22, 1996, and have three kids, two boys and a girl. Her daughter, Natasha, competed in Season 11 of The Voice.

Speaking about the anniversary, Candace states, “Praise the Lord his faithfulness and, in humility, our willingness to trust Him and allow those who’ve gone before us and those who haven’t but know God’s Word to speak into us. And grateful for every other bit of solid advice and encouragement.”

Candace then pens, “I’m often asked for marriage advice. What’s the secret? Lord knows I will never write a book about it because we are learning every year, every day. Grace, grace, grace. Communication (which is so important but difficult when one partner isn’t willing). Sex. Laughter. Patience. Lots of patience. Love (a ver. which must be put into action, it’s not just a feeling).”

Candace Cameron Bure also states that no marriage is actually “picture perfect.” She further explains, “But through thick and thin, ups and downs, God has blessed us tremendously with guidance and perseverance. I believe God is the secret sauce. I have more love for this man today than the day we married each other. And I know he does for me.”

Cameron Bure then shares that she and her hubby celebrated their anniversary with a few “incredible” nights at Pebble Beach resorts.
