Walt Disney World in Orlando, Florida, is turning the big 5-0. And Candace Cameron Bure flew to the magical theme park to help the park kick off an 18-month celebration.
On October 1st, Disney World is celebrating its birthday in style. The theme park is hosting a star-studded cast for an ABC special called The Most Magical Story on Earth: 50 Years of Walt Disney World. During the two-hour show, The View’s Whoopi Goldberg will interview a long list of athletes, celebrities, and Disney Imagineers who have special memories of the infamous kingdom.
The show will begin a year and a half long birthday event inside the theme parks. The celebration will include epic fireworks displays, a new ride, and special performances.
Candace Cameron Bure is a star of the special. And she gave her Instagram followers a little preview of her interview.
“It’s almost time to celebrate the magic and celebrate 50 years of @waltdisneyworld,” Bure captioned.
“Very honored to be a part of this along with @johnstamos and represent the memories we made while shooting Full House at Walt Disney World those many years ago. Tune in Friday, Oct 1st at 8/7c on @abcnetwork #ABC2020 #DisneyWorld50.”
The Hallmark starlet attached a picture of herself in a stunning blue gown and a clip from the special. During the video, she talks about her memories of a Full House episode that she filmed at Disney World.
