We are less than a week away from the first official day of summer 2021. But actress Candace Cameron Bure has her mind on Christmas.

Even though fans will always recognize the popular actress as DJ Tanner from her time on Full House and Fuller House, Candace Cameron Bure is also a Hallmark Channel star. And on Wednesday, the 45-year-old shared a selfie of her decked out for the holidays on her Instagram story. She appeared to be on the set for a new Christmas movie.

The star actress was seen with her hair styled in wavy curls. All the while, she was rocking a red dress and had on red lipstick to match.

“It’s Christmas of course,” she captioned the photo on her story.

Candace Cameron Bure has been acting for 39 years, which is nearly her entire life. And during her illustrious acting career, she has appeared in more than two dozen Hallmark movies. Many of them have been holiday movies.

Candace Cameron Bure Still Gets Nervous Each Holiday Film Season

While speaking on The Call to Mastery podcast back in March, Cameron Bure said she “worries all the time” about her movies. Despite her spending basically, her entire life in the industry, the Full House and Fuller House star said that she still gets nervous about how her movies will perform.

“I worry all the time about my movies,” Cameron Bure said. “I actually got sick to my stomach on this last Christmas movie that aired in November because I’ve created an anxiety for myself because my movies have been the top-performing movies seven years in a row. And, you know, one day you’re going to slide off that pedestal.”

“And so every year, it kind of makes me sicker and sicker every time I have a movie to come out because I’m like, ‘Is this going to be the year? Is this it?'”

Although she still struggles with wanting her movies to be the very best they can be, she is working to get herself away from that mindset.

“I had to remind myself of my why and then let it go ad just say, ‘You know what, it doesn’t matter what those ratings are.”

Candace Cameron Bure also spoke directly to some critics who say that making Christmas films is easy.

“Can we just talk about this for a second?” Cameron Bure asks. “I get that all the time. ‘How hard is it to be in a Hallmark movie?’ Like, ‘Can I be in a Hallmark movie?’ And I’m like, ‘Are you a professional actor? No? Then no, you cannot.”
