Carrie Ann Inaba celebrated the Fourth of July in the most traditional, blissful sort of way. She spent it with her neighbors watching a parade.

Inaba posted about her Sunday on Instagram. The 53-year-old TV host, dancer and choreographer currently on medical leave from The Talk. But she loves to share her life with her 406,000 followers on social media.

Carrie Ann Inaba posted:

“A little morning parade! I can’t tell you how nice it is to see all our neighbors out! Feels like a celebration of life and survival. We all made it through the last year… and we are celebrating our independence. It was a beautiful way to start the day with a beautiful celebration! The fire trucks came by and the neighborhood kids played violins for us…. And we all just gathered with a special joy.

“Hope you are having a good Fourth of July! #independenceday#[email protected]_husky.”

Did You Notice Who Was in Photo with Carrie Ann Inaba?

Carrie Ann Inaba tagged her one-time boyfriend Fabien Viteri in the photo. He and his dog are celebrating with her in the picture. It’s unclear whether the two are officially back together. She announced two months ago that the two had split up. Yet, she’s been seen with him since Inaba announced their breakup. And Viteri also has posted photos of the two on his Instagram account.

This time a year ago, Inaba wished her friends and family a Happy Fourth. But she also used a Tweet as a public service announcement, encouraging everyone to be careful with their pets.

Now, flash forward a year. Carrie Ann Inaba looks happy and relaxed. Back in April, she took a leave of absence from The Talk as she dealt with painful health issues. She’s shared her treatment and physical therapy sessions with her fans via social media.

Carrie Ann Inaba announced her leave via an Instagram video: “I wanted to let you know personally that I have decided to take a leave of absence from The Talk to focus on my well being. I know you guys understand, health is the most important thing. So, I appreciate your support. … And I hope to be back soon. Take care and I’ll keep you updated. Thank you.”

Will Inaba Return to Dancing With the Stars?

However, a timetable for her return to The Talk still is unclear. And now that we’re in the middle of summer, fans are wondering if she’ll return as a judge to Dancing With the Stars. The show celebrates its 30th season in the fall. Inaba has been with the show from the beginning, when it started as a summer-time reality show in 2005. Now, it’s a huge franchise on ABC. More than 6.4 million viewers tuned in to watch Kaitlyn Bristowe of The Bachelorette fame team with partner Artem Chigvintsev to win the Mirror Ball Trophy.

Tyra Banks, DWTS producer and host, said she really wants Carrie Inaba back on judges row.

“She was there way before I was,” Banks said Thursday on Entertainment Tonight. “So I’m gonna be begging her, ‘Please, Baby, please! You gonna be there, right?’”
