Carrie Ann Inaba is seeking to become one with nature. The television personality took to her Instagram account on Monday to share some pics of her weekend spent outdoors.

The post includes photos of Carrie Ann’s recent adventure, which include sweet pictures of Inaba and her boyfriend, Fabien Viteri. “Went on a little journey to refresh the soul this past weekend,” Carrie Ann writes. “We were in nature… and there is no better medicine for your spiritual well-being than a dose of Mother Nature. It was so nice to get out of the house and change up our routine. living with so much less… and spending time – quality time with each other. We also tend to think that we don’t have time to take off, but can I tell you that I was more creative in my writing in those two days than I have been in a while.”

Carrie Ann also writes, “It just poured out of me… so for my creative friends out there, try a change of scenery… sometimes it gives you a creative spark…. In addition to the much needed dose of wellness.”

Carrie Ann’s Leave of Absence From The Talk

Carrie Ann Inaba is currently on a leave of absence from the hit talk show The Talk. Inaba announced the leave in April 2021. “I have decided to take a leave of absence from [The Talk] to focus on my health and well-being,” She tweets. “I appreciate the support from you and my family at The Talk and hope to be back soon.”

Carrie Ann also suffers from multiple different conditions, including fibromyalgia, chronic fatigue syndrome, and Sjogren’s syndrome. Inaba did recently disclose she has Lupus and Rheumatoid Arthritis. “I’m feeling so good, feeling better by the day,” she says in a recent Instagram story. “Basically, since the pandemic hit, I have been in extreme pain. I’m on the road to recovery and I’m extremely grateful.”

Inaba also discussed her plans to return to the show. “We are probably going to sit down and have some discussions about what the future is and when I go back, maybe the end of this month,” she explains. “I do miss everybody at The Talk and I look forward to being able to do what I love to do when the time is right.”

Carrie Ann has not announced her return to The Talk.

The Talk’s Renewal Following Co-Host Controversy

The Talk was recently renewed for its twelfth season earlier this month, but the show has had some recent bumps. In March 2021, original co-host of The Talk Sharon Osbourne officially exited the show after Osbourne and the other co-hosts, including Carrie Ann Inaba, had a heated conversation about Piers Morgan’s comments about Meghan Markle’s interview with Oprah. Osbourne notably sided with Morgan.

Shortly after the incident, Sharon discussed the situation Entertainment Weekly by stating, “I am not a racist and if you can’t have a go at your friend who happens to be Black, does that make me racist because I said certain things to my friend, but I said them on camera? I will keep on apologizing to Sheryl, even if I decide not to go back.”

There has been yet any news about Osbourne’s replacement.
