Fans can't get enough of Carrie Underwood's new SNF opening.

Carrie Underwood returned for her eighth season with NBC’s Sunday Night Football, and fans can’t get enough of it.

The country music superstar debuted a glittery new reworking of the Sunday Night Football opening. While singing “Waiting All Day for Sunday Night,” which parodies “I Hate Myself for Loving You,” Underwood is a vision as she breezes through city landscapes juxtaposed against sports teams.

The reaction from fans has been overwhelming. Underwood’s loyal stans are voicing their excitement that the songstress looks and sounds so good in the new footage. They’re praising everything from Underwood’s voice to the production associated with the new opening.

We’re not saying you’re wrong for suggesting Carrie Underwood invented football.

Carrie moved some fans to happy tears when they heard her belt out those notes.

You truly do love to see Carrie back on TV with a fresh rendition of the song to get everyone pumped.

The singer took to Instagram with a sneak peek for fans, giving them a look behind the scenes of the new video.

“We all want to make each year feel special and unique,” Underwood said. “More than anything, everybody’s just grateful that we get to do this.”

Carrie Underwood has been the face of Sunday Night Football since 2013

Underwood has been performing the Sunday Night Football theme since 2013. She follows Faith Hill, who was previously tasked with bringing the entry to life. If the tune sounds familiar, that’s because it’s a rewrite of Joan Jett’s rocking tune “I Hate Myself For Loving You.”

Fans don’t mind if it’s a rewrite or an original, though. As long as Queen Underwood is performing, they’re happy. Since it appears she’s totally killing it, it looks like we’ll be hearing from Carrie for some time to come.
