Carrie Underwood is a busy girl this holiday season, what with releasing her own Christmas soundtrack and all. However, she still has time to wish her fans a happy Thanksgiving and display her own scrumptious-looking feast.

Thanksgiving: Carrie Underwood Style

Carrie prepared a meal with all the fixings, including green bean casserole, macaroni and cheese, dressing, cranberry sauce, and much, much more.

On the video, it reads “I cooked for 2 days. It was over in 20 minutes!”

Come on! Can she actually blame anyone for gobbling up the decadent meal so quickly?

In the background of the Instagram video, Underwood cleverly plays the song “Hungry Eyes” by Eric Carmen from the 1987 hit film “Dirty Dancing.”

The caption reads:

“Couldn’t be with the fam this year, but we feasted nonetheless! I worked hard and our bellies are stuffed! Shoutout to @ifjayhadinstagram for the turkey, which I did not try (I’m a Tofurky kind of girl) but was told it was delicious! Happy Thanksgiving everyone!”

Thanksgiving Traditions

Besides enjoying homemade grub, Underwood admits she, her husband Mike, and their two boys don’t have too many Thanksgiving traditions, other than trying to spend it together when possible.

“We don’t have too many set-in-stone Thanksgiving traditions,” said Carrie. “I find myself a lot of times working on or around Thanksgiving or unable to get home or whatever. We try to be together, but sometimes that just doesn’t work out.”

“I’m kind of lucky,” she adds. “I get two Thanksgivings because I also get to celebrate Canadian Thanksgiving with my husband’s family, so if I don’t hit one, I’ll definitely be able to get the other one.”

This year it doesn’t look like Carrie missed out on one of her own personal traditions: the one where she eats a lot.

“I eat a lot every year on Thanksgiving,” jokes Underwood. “I never skip THAT tradition.”
