If you ever wanted to find out how your favorite celebrities would fare in a tough game like Survivor, it looks like you may be able to find out. CBS is airing a Survivor-like celebrity competition show called Beyond The Edge. The new competition show is set to take place in Panama. As of right now, we don’t have much information. But the concept is definitely exciting for fans of CBS reality programs.

The new reality series is set to air in the spring. According to Variety, the show is going to involve both brains and brawn just like Survivor does. Right now, the network hasn’t commented on the news. The project was allegedly shot in Boco del Toro Panama in September and October this year.

It’ll likely feature NBA star Metta World Peace, former Bachelor star Colton Underwood, NFL star Ray Lewis, Jody Sweetin of Full House, Eboni K. Williams from The Real Housewives of New York, and model Paulina Porizkova.

This wouldn’t be the first time NBA star Metta World Peace has gone on a CBS reality program, but it was a very different competition than a Survivor-like one. He starred on Celebrity Big Brother. The next Celebrity Big Brother, by the way, will actually air in February.

Hopefully, we’ll get more information about Beyond the Edge and its contestants soon. For now, reality TV fans are just waiting for the network to say anything at all.

If You’re Excited About ‘Beyond the Edge’ Check Out This Season of Survivor

If you think the concept of celebrities trying to live together and survive in the wild sounds fun, then this season of Survivor, Survivor 41, is definitely one to check out. The contestants may not be celebrities (though there is a former NFL Player). But on Survivor, that’s a good thing.

The show has given us a ton of real stories from genuine human beings from all walks of life. And seeing how they Survive and compete has been quite a treat. We’re currently down to the final six right now, with one contestant, Deshawn Radden, in the most danger.

Survivor 41 has introduced quite its fair share of twists. The twists have been pretty controversial thus far. Some fans love the twists, but others want a more classic version of Survivor that fans feel they were promised in the promotion for this season.

One thing about this season is it’s way more brutal. Way less food is given to the contestants, so they really do have to live and survive on their own. If you want to catch up on this season, you can go to Paramount +. New episodes of Survivor, meanwhile, air every Wednesday night at 8/7 central.
