“Celebrity Wheel of Fortune” is about to get epic this weekend. In a new, fun trailer, game show host Pat Sajak reveals there will be a $1 million spin-and-win contestant. But who will it be? The gameshow featuring word puzzles and wheel spins is going to have one lucky winner feeling very satisfied!
What makes the win better? It’s all for charity, of course. In its second season, the celebrity version of “Wheel of Fortune” is hosting A-listers as well as stars of the small screen. The dynamic week to week is performing very successfully. And it’s full of laughs and good times by all.
In the clip, Sajak is seen holding a glossy, gold $1 million dollar sign as he reveals it to its unknown winner. The teaser tailer is captioned: “Which ⭐️ spins it to WIN IT ALL⁉️ Watch #CelebrityWheelOfFortune Sunday at 8/7c!”
Among the favorites appearing on the show are the teen witch herself – Melissa Joan Heart. Who can forget the 90s and early 2000s It-gal? Hart practically lived at the Nickelodeon Studios when she wasn’t filming a movie.
One of the other contestants for this week is actress Lacey Chabert. Chabert has a long-spanning and successful acting career, but you probably recognize her most from “Mean Girls.” But with 150 acting credits and still in her 30s, there’s plenty of things you’ve probably seen her in.
To wrap up this upcoming Sunday’s contestants, we have Tituss Burgess who became a breakout star in “Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt” as Titus Andromedon. He appeared in every episode of the show, but you may have seen him in the Aretha Franklin biopic “Respect” that came out this year.
Additionally, Tara Lapinski, U.S. figure skating’s sweetheart, will compete for another “golden” win. Other appearances have included or will include Jason Alexander, Vanilla Ice, and Haley Joel Osment.
It’s a super fun line-up that enhances the already popular game show.
“Wheel of Fortune’s” Vanna White Talks Fave Celebrity Moments
As a bit of a celebrity herself, the “Wheel of Fortune” sidekick and presenter Vanna White said she’s loving the second season of the show’s celebrity edition. In a recent interview she sat down to discuss some of her favorite celebrity moments – and if one person stood out more than another.
“That’s a tough question because they were all so good and they all brought something different to the table. Maybe, I have to say, Chris Harrison was a favorite for me only because I’m a fan of The Bachelor and Bachelorette. What can I say? You know, so, that was kinda fun.”
Host Pat Sajak also admits the set of the show has been decorated differently than normal.
“We’ve jazzed up the set a bit,” Sajak said. “Made it look a little more prime-timey, whatever that means. And it’s going to be a different kind of vibe. We want [the contestants] to play a good, solid game, but we’re mainly there to have fun. It’ll be a little lighter in attitude.”
To experience the fun, celebrity style, make sure to tune in to ABC on Sunday at 8/7 p.m. central to see who claims the $1 million prize for their charity.
