Blake Gallo will be taking a major risk in an upcoming episode of Chicago Fire.

Actor Alberto Rosende, who portrays Gallo, is doing an excellent job of portraying a firefighter trying to prove himself. Although he is a rookie compared to the veteran firefighters, he believes that he knows best in certain situations, at least it seems that way in the latest promo teaser for the upcoming episode.

Fans see Gallo climbing a gutter from a building that is on fire. This is despite the defying orders from interim Lieutenant Pelham. These two Chicago Fire characters will be butting heads during episode 8.

With his mentor Matt Casey leaving the squad to go to Oregon, he’s dealing with a big change. What kind of rescue will take place and what orders will Gallo defy? Find out Wednesday!

Brett Dalton made his first appearance on Chicago Fire on November 3 as interim commander Lt. Jason Pelham.

Deadline reported that he is a recurring cast member. This means that he is on for at least several episodes. A recurring cast member is above guest star but below series regular.

You may recognize Dalton from playing Grant Ward and Hive on Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. He also previously starred in Army WivesBlue Bloods, and Nurses. Most recently he starred in the Apple TV+ original series Ghostwriter.

A ‘Chicago Fire’ Wedding?

Chicago Fire fans have been obsessing over Kidd and Severide’s budding romance for quite some time. They’ve been developing a relationship over the seasons. Although Kidd could be switching stations, fans are still praying for a real relationship between the two characters.

In an interview with Entertainment Weekly, Kidd actress Miranda Rae Mayo said that she could picture her character and Severide (Taylor Kinney) having a modest wedding.

“I don’t see it being very big,” she said. “I see it being on a boat or, I don’t know, them being in the midst of planning it and then being like, ‘Screw it!’ and going to city hall. As fans, we’ve seen that was Casey and Dawson’s journey. I’m really looking forward to seeing what the writers do with our characters if an engagement happens and if a marriage happens.”

Meanwhile, Wendy Seager returning to Chicago Fire has upset some fans. Following the surprise exit of original castmember Jesse Spencer, Seager made her return after her last appearance on the show in Season 8.

Seager is a lieutenant in the office of fire investigation. Her character is portrayed by Andy Allo. Allo also starred in Amazon Prime’s Upload and Pitch Perfect 3. The majority of fans aren’t liking her character’s return simply because she is flirting with Severide.
