Singer-songwriter Chris Daughtry released a tribute on Instagram on Saturday in honor of his daughter Hannah, who died in Nashville.
Hannah Daughtry, 25, was found dead in her home on Friday.

In his statement, Daughtry said, “I am still processing the last 24 hours. I am absolutely devastated and heartbroken. I just recently in the last week lost my mother to cancer but I was blessed with the chance to say goodbye and I was processing it privately.

“We never got to say goodbye to our precious Hannah and it’s another huge hit to our family,” Chris Daughtry writes. He thanks everyone for their kind words and condolences.
“They are truly felt and appreciated. I am now taking time to be present with my family as we attempt to heal from this series of devastating losses.
“Hannah, I love you and I miss you. I wish I could hold you. This hurts so deeply,” Chris Daughtry writes.
Additionally, the family is asking for privacy at this time and will share updates as soon as they can.
All of Daughtry’s shows through Nov. 16th have been rescheduled.

Chris Daughtry is a singer, songwriter, and actor. He’s the frontman and rhythm guitarist for Daughtry, a rock band he formed after placing fourth in American Idol‘s fifth season.
Deanna, the wife of Daughtry, has two kids from a previous relationship. They are Hannah and Griffin, 23. Chris and Deanna met in 2000. They have 10-year-old twins together, Adalynn Rose and Noah James.

Chris Daughtry was touring in support of his new album, “The Dearly Beloved.”
It is the band’s sixth studio album.
Songs on it include the hit “Lioness.”
Deanna also released a statement with some photos of Hannah.
“My firstborn. I love you endlessly, Hannah,” she writes. To Chris’s fans, she writes, “Thank you all for the outpouring of love as we grieve the loss of our daughter, Hannah.”
Deanna said the family is waiting for autopsy results. She writes, “Our hearts are broken.”
