Chrissy Teigen is facing yet another bullying accusation. This time, it’s from Cameroonian singer Dencia. And now it has crossed over from cyberbullying to the old-fashioned kind. Needless to say, it’s a pretty bad look for the former Sports Illustrated swimsuit model, with the news coming in the midst of other accusations.

According to Reprudencia Sonkey, who goes by the name Dencia, Chrissy Teigen yanked her assistant’s phone out of his hand. She also shoved Dencia on two separate occasions at the 2016 Grammy Awards. Apparently, the whole thing boils down to a weird misunderstanding.

Chrissy Teigen must have thought that the assistant was trying to film her on his phone. In comments she gave to The Sun, Dencia recalled the strange night.

“My assistant at the time took his phone out to record a video of me as I walked the carpet,” Dencia said. “Chrissy literally yanked his phone out of his hand and said, ‘Don’t record me!'”

The then-pregnant Teigen allegedly proceeded to shove Dencia as they made their way to the red carpet. A strange enough thing on its own. But Dencia claims that Teigen did the same thing again a few moments later. This time, the Cameroonian pop star says she was almost knocked to the ground.

Dencia Didn’t Recognize Chrissy Teigen Until She Saw John Legend

Dencia was naturally confused at the exchange. She didn’t even know who Chrissy Teigen was until she saw the model’s husband, John Legend, with her.

What’s more, the singer had largely forgotten about the incident. Until she saw the Teigen cyberbullying saga unfolding in recent months, at least.

“I just never thought of it as something, but…I saw her bully people online and was like, ‘Damn!’ She’s just a mean-spirited human. Everyone who has known me since 2016 knows the story, because since then, I’ve never liked her,” she told The Sun.

Apparently, John Legend witnessed what happened but didn’t get involved in the seemingly one-sided drama.

The New Accusations Join a Slew of Other Alleged Instances of Bullying

Chrissy Teigen has lost a huge number of brand deals in recent weeks. The loss of sponsorships and even a role in a Netflix show follows the cyberbullying allegations from fellow model Courtney Stodden, among others.

In recent days, fashion designer Michael Costello has claimed that Teigen went so far as to blacklist him.

“Beyond the DMs and the public comments Chrissy Teigen left on Michael Costello’s Instagram for the world to see, there are emails and documents unreleased to the public which confirms Chrissy Teigen has gone beyond social media to blacklist Michael Costello offline, making him endure over seven years of suffering – mentally and financially,” Costello’s team told People.
