MMA superstar and former UFC champion Conor McGregor recently purchased one of 63 limited edition Lamborghini Yachts.

Even in retirement, McGregor still finds his way into the news.

McGregor’s new toy is called the “Lamborghini 63 Yacht by Tecnomar.” According to TMZ Sports, the new yacht was just released to the public a few months ago. It has a starting price of $3.9 million but could potentially cost more depending on customization options.

The boat has been dubbed by McGregor “the supercar of the sea,” and is reportedly 63 feet long, weighs 24 tons, has top speeds of nearly 70 mph. Additionally, it features a 4,000 horsepower engine.

TMZ Sports tweeted out a rendering of what the boat could look like. McGregor expects it to be completed by next summer.

“Excited to see the finished result during next seasons yachting season,” McGregor said.

Furthermore, Scottish Sun Sports tweeted a rendering of what the inside of the yacht will look like.

“I am honored to secure the No. 12 edition of just 63 to be made. 1963 being the year Lamborghini first began, and 12 being, well you know Twelve! Proper f—ing Twelve baby.” McGregor said about the purchase of his new yacht.

The number 12 is important to McGregor being that he owns Proper No. Twelve Irish whiskey.

Twitter has words for Conor McGregor

Meanwhile, fans on Twitter had words for the former UFC champ. Some fans responded by congratulating McGregor.

“Congrats Conor,” one user wrote. Another user tweeted in McGregor’s Irish accent, “Now that’s a great fookin boat.”

“Well, he certainly won’t need that second stimulus check, lmao.” another user joked.

Others on Twitter weren’t as pleased with the star’s high-priced purchase and didn’t hold back their thoughts.

“Screw helping your fellow man! Awesome use of your money, dude!”

“Scumbag.”

“He’ll be bankrupt in five years.”

The 32-year-old has been facing personal issues in the wake of buying his new yacht. He is currently facing sexual assault allegations in Corsica.

McGregor is currently retired from the UFC and hasn’t fought since beating Donald “Cowboy” Cerrone at UFC 246 in January. He is apparently making plans to set up a boxing match with Manny Pacquiao.
