Former co-stars of “Counting On,” Jinger Duggar and her husband Jeremy Vuolo, are speaking out about TLC’s decision not to renew the reality series for another season.

The couple announced their statement via their Instagram page on Tuesday. “We are grateful for TLC giving us the opportunity to be on their network over the years and their kindness towards the Vuolo family. It’s been a remarkable journey that has opened doors to traveling and experiencing the world in a way that we wouldn’t have imagined possible,” they wrote.

They added: “We wholeheartedly agree with TLC’s decision not to renew ‘Counting On’ and are excited for the next chapter in our lives. We’d like to thank our fans, friends, and the amazing film crew who have shown us love and support. We look forward to continuing our creative journey in Los Angeles and seeing what the future holds,” their statement finished.

Jinger, 27, and Jeremy, 33, currently live in L.A., where they are raising their two daughters Felicity, 2, and 7-month-old Evangeline Jo.

“Counting On” acted as the spinoff series to the family’s original series, “19 and Counting.” It first premiered in 2015. The original series, which ran from 2008 to 2015, starred parents Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar.

In a brief statement, the network announced that they would not be bringing the show back for another season. “TLC will not be producing additional seasons of ‘Counting On.’ TLC feels it is important to give the Duggar family the opportunity to address their situation privately.”

The decision not to renew the series comes in the wake of Josh Duggar’s recent scandal. Duggar is currently facing child pornography charges and is due to appear in court.

‘Counting on’ Stars Weigh in on TLC’s Decision

In April, Duggar was arrested and later plead not guilty to the charges. As a result, authorities released him from jail one week later. As he awaits his court date, the father of six is currently staying with some family friends. He isn’t allowed to stay with his pregnant wife, Anna Duggar, and their children due to the nature of the charges.

Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar responded to the news of the arrest in a statement to People. “We appreciate your continued prayers for our family at this time. The accusations brought against Joshua today are very serious. It is our prayer that the truth, no matter what it is, will come to light, and that this will all be resolved in a timely manner. We love Josh and Anna and continue to pray for their family,” it read.

Prosecutors believe Duggar had more than 200 images of children on his computer. If convicted, he could spend up to 20 years in prison. Additionally, he could also have to pay up to $250,000 in fines on each of the two counts.
