‘CSI: Vegas’: When the Revival Make Its Series Premiere, How to Watch

Fans of forensic investigation dramas are soon in for a treat when the CSI revival series, CSI: Vegas brings some of our favorite investigators back to the small screen. Along with some new CSI players.

While word of this series has been around for a while, the premiere time is finally here.

And this week, fans can go back to where it all started. Into the Las Vegas CSI labs for some brand-new episodes.

When – And Where – To Watch

The brand-new CBS investigative series is scheduled to premiere this Wednesday evening, October 6.

The premiere episode in this new series serves as a sort of sequel and epilogue to the original.

Early descriptions of the premiere episodes promise to take viewers back into the original CSI lab in Las Vegas. This time, however, the Vegas lab is headed by a whole new team.

‘CSI: Vegas’ Promises An Exciting Mix of New Characters As Well As Some Familiar Faces

The CSI: Vegas premiere promise some new faces in the investigative team. However, fans can also expect plenty of blasts from the past.

The first episodes will bring back some favorites from the original show; as they join the new detectives as they work together doing what they have always done best: following the evidence.

Both William Peterson and Sara Sidle, two of the original CSI stars, will appear on the series regularly.

“Twenty-one years ago, we launched CSI and watched in awe as this new cinematic series launched an entire genre and became a groundbreaking juggernaut that still has global resonance today,” said CBS Entertainment president Kelly Kahl of the new CSI series.

Fans Will Meet The ‘Next Generation’ Of Forensic Criminologists

“We are thrilled to welcome the next generation of forensic criminalists to the CSI brand and unite them with the legendary characters from the past who we still love including William Peterson and Jorja Fox,” the CBS Entertainment president continued.

“Crimefighting technology has advanced dramatically over the last several years,” Kahl adds. “Combined with classic CSI storytelling, we can’t wait to watch m new CSI team do what they do best: follow the evidence.”

In Wednesday’s CSI: Vegas series premiere, fans will meet the newest CSI team leader, Maxine Roby played by Paula Newsome.

Roby heads a team of some new CSI officers, including Matt Lauria’s CSI: Vegas level three officer Josh Folsom, and Mandeep Dhillon’s Allie Rajan who joins the team as a level two CSI officer.

Mel Rodriguez portrays Hugo Ramirez, the CSI series’s “Mastermind of the Morgue.”

A New Piece of the Franchise For ‘CSI’ Fans

“I’m excited to be bringing back the CSI franchise to all our fans who have been so loyal to us for all these years,” said Jerry Bruckheimer of the new series.

Bruckheimer’s company, Jerry Bruckheimer Television produced the reboot series with CBS.

“We’ve enjoyed working on this project with CBS and look forward to welcoming back Billy, Jorja, and Wallace as they join a new group of talented actors in CSI: Vegas,” Bruckheimer adds.

In total, the first season of CSI: Vegas will include ten episodes. Aside from catching the long-awaited premiere during its premiere on CBS on October 6, CSI fans can stream CSI: Vegas on Paramount +.
