On Sunday, video footage of Dallas Cowboys fans brawling with one another at a local bar circulated online as the Cowboys played the Atlanta Falcons.

The Cowboys looked done for in the first quarter since they already trailed the Falcons by 20 points. Dallas came dangerously close of opening the season 0-2. However, the Cowboys fought back throughout the second half and rallied for its first win of the season.

So far, the cause of the Cowboys fans fighting is not known. But, one can speculate that the team’s poor early performance during the game might have had something to do with it.

According to the comments section of the post, the fight started at the Sunset Crab Shack. The establishment is in the Oak Cliff neighborhood of Dallas, TX. Additionally, online descriptions say it’s a “restaurant/nightspot offering seafood-focused Mexican cuisine, plus festive drinks & a patio bar.”

As soon as the video starts, chaos ensues. Immediately chairs are thrown, drinks are flying, and men and women both start swinging at each other. Almost every fan in the footage is decked out in Dallas Cowboys gear in the 45-second clip. Fans scream in the background as the entire room is wrecked from the fight within less than a minute.

The footage shared on @DallasTexasTV’s Twitter account has already been viewed more than 420,000 times.

More Excited Cowboys Fans (That Were Less Violent)

A pair of famous Cowboys went viral for their reactions to Sunday afternoon’s comeback win against the Falcons.

First, in the 4th quarter, owner Jerry Jones’ reaction to his team’s onside kick recovery made its rounds online. A masked Jones was seen vigorously pumping both fists out of excitement in the short video.

In addition, former Cowboys wide receiver and Hall of Famer Michael Irvin could not contain his excitement over Dallas’ comeback victory.

“Everybody was waiting to smash us! I’m telling you, those Cowboy haters, they were out there,” a hyped up Irvin said after the game on the NFL Network. “And just when you thought you were ready to spit on the grave of the Dallas Cowboys, that’s when we raised our hand up and said, ‘We’re not dead yet and we’re still in this thing!’”

At least the owner and former wide receiver kept their fists to themselves. Maybe if the brawling Dallas fans watched their game a little longer, they would have realized there was no reason to be angry after all.

The Cowboys kicked a game-winning field goal as time expired to beat the Falcons 40-39.
