Musicians gotta stick together! And that’s exactly what Darius Rucker did when he shared a post praising Post Malone’s recent cover of a Hootie and the Blowfish song. Darius wrote, “The smile in my face will not leave for a long time. This is awesome. My bro @PostMalone bringing it. Hell yes man!!!!!!!!!”

Darius Rucker Has A Lot To Smile About With New Single

Darius Rucker recently released his latest single, “Beers And Sunshine.” The song is a feel-good summer song about slowing down and simply enjoying life, especially when things feel out of control. With everything that’s happened over the last year, the song is a much-needed reminder to release what we can’t control and simply enjoy some sunshine and beer. During the song, Darius sings, “Beers and sunshine. Bonfires and summertime. Back porch nights in South Carolina. Ain’t nothing finer than me and my girl striking up a little lighter cause everybody’s down in a world gone crazy. Don’t know how to fix it but I think maybe turn on the good times, turn off the TV. Yeah, the only BS I need is beers and sunshine.” We are definitely using the line “the only BS I need is beers and sunshine,” from now on!

During an interview, Darius Rucker talked about how writing this hit song was the cure for his COVID-19 blues.

“Like it says in the song, I don’t know how we fix any of these big, real issues that we’re facing,” said Darius. “But while we work through this time, I think it’s important that we find the silver lining where we can really enjoy the little moments and the simple joys of time spent together with friends and family.”

In conclusion, when you start to feel the chaos of the world weighing on you, call a friend, grab a beer and turn on Darius Rucker’s “Beers and Sunshine.”
