This season of Dexter: New Blood has been intriguing, to say the least. Dexter is having to battle with a lot going on at once. His old habits have come back and his son could be making trouble for himself as well.

Showtime released some information about episode 7 of the season. The episode is set to air on December 19. That will be the last episode of the season before the Christmas break. So, it will be one that viewers will want to take in and pay attention to. It seems that Dexter has caught onto a serial killer, and we all know what that means.

However, Dexter AKA Jim Lindsay is also worried about someone else. Harrison, his son. In the most recent episode, Harrison got involved in a stabbing at school. The story he told made him out to be a hero, however, his dad noticed the blood doesn’t match the story. And blood never lies. So, there is no telling the trouble that Harrison is going to get into by episode 7.

Here is the synopsis for the episode:

Dexter is worried that a serial killer may have set its sights on someone he cares deeply about. So, he turns form predator to protector… a role he’s not comforable playing. Meanwhile Angela arrests someone from Iron Lake who may be the culprit of a cold case that is near and dear to her heart. Dexter and Harrison run into some more bumps in the road in their relationship, leading Harrison to turn to a very dangerous person as his father figure.

When this episode of Dexter: New Blood airs on the 19th, fans are going to be very eager to see what happens. It seems that Angela might have a lead in the Iris case.

‘Dexter: New Blood’ What is Harrison Up To?

There is a lot going on already with Harrison on Dexter: New Blood. He is clearly very smart and has compassion. He reached out to Ethan and became his friend. However, the long-bullied student was not in a great place. His years of torture and bullying from his peers led Ethan down a dark path. As the last episode ended, Dexter found the straight razor in Harrison’s room.

For those fans of the original series, you will know that the Trinity killer used a straight razor. That’s the same man that killed Harrison’s mom. After finding the item, Dexter seems overcome with emotion. He has long feared his son had a dark passenger. As his imagination of Deb said, they were both “born in blood.”

Dexter: New Blood has set up some great storylines. We have the father-son saga with these two. Then there are the issues with Kurt Caldwell, Matt Caldwell, Angela, and pretty much the entire town of Iron Lake. Dexter can’t just kill his way through his problems this time, so what will he do?
