Dog the Bounty Hunter and His Family Pay Tribute to Beth Chapman on Second Anniversary of Her Death

by Quentin Blount

It was just two years ago today that Beth Chapman, the wife of Dog the Bounty Hunter, lost her life after a two-year battle with cancer.

For fans out there who don’t know, Beth Chapman was first diagnosed with stage 2 throat cancer back in 2017. She had gone to the doctor seeking treatment for a bad cough when the diagnosis was made. However, since the cancer was detected early enough, doctors were able to remove a tumor and declare her cancer-free shortly after. But only a year later, the cancer had returned and it was more aggressive, having spread to her lungs. She ultimately passed away seven months after that.

Now two years later, Beth Chapman’s loving family members, including Dog the Bounty Hunter, are taking to social media to remember her.

Naturally, Dog the Bounty Hunter started off the tributes to his late wife on Instagram. He shared an awesome clip of Beth singing some karaoke at a restaurant. You can see just how energetic and passionate she was. Dog simply captioned the video clip, “Beth.”

Children of Beth Chapman and Dog the Bounty Hunter Post Touching Messages to Their Mom

The youngest son of Dog the Bounty Hunter and Beth Chapman is 20-year-old Garry Chapman. Although he normally tries his best to stay out of the public eye, he posted a beautiful tribute to his mother on Instagram as well.

“Two years hasn’t ever felt this long. I know you’re listening from above,” Garry wrote. “There’s nothing more I value than your love, your now silent guidance, and your great expectations. I have no doubt you would be proud of me and what I have done, and what I continue to do even when the odds are stacked against me; I just wish you got to see it from down here. No matter what I’m doing your memories will always keep me smiling and your light always shines on the path forward. Miss you Mom ❤️”

Meanwhile, 22-year-old Bonnie Chapman also made a post in memory of Beth Chapman. She says that she wishes she would have learned more recipes with her mom like she would ask her to do.

“It has been two years since you’ve been gone. It’s been so painfully long since I’ve seen your smile face to face. It’s hard without you,” Dog the Bounty Hunter‘s daughter said. “I’m doing the things you told me to do, I’m still following every piece of advice you’ve given me. I’m thankful you’re no longer in pain but it’s been hard without you.”

“I find out more about you every day from stories from our friends. Sometimes I really miss you yelling at me for not learning a recipe with you, now I wish I did. Every day is tough, but you’ve taught me how to endure. Each year it’ll feel like a new wound, but I know I’ll see you again.”
