Dog the Bounty Hunter Pens Sweet Message to Girlfriend With New Photo

by Amy Myers

Duane Chapman, otherwise known as Dog the Bounty Hunter, showed just how excited he is to marry his fiancé, Francie Frane, in his latest Instagram post. Chapman (67) and Frane (51) decided they would tie the knot in May of 2020, almost a year after the death of his first wife, Beth Chapman. Beth passed away in June 2019 from complications of stage II throat cancer. Since the bounty hunter found his new beau, the two have proved time and again that there is always a second chance for love.

In Chapman’s latest dedication to Frane, he took a photo of her in their home, presumably in a moment when he couldn’t help but admire her beauty. Frane stands casually, holding a pearl necklace as if getting ready to go out. She has on a short, patterned dress with bell sleeves and a pair of tall brown boots. In the mirror, we can see Dog the Bounty Hunter, focused intently on photographing his fiancé.

“My Francie Francie,” Chapman wrote in the caption, “I Love You !!!! And soon be proving that beyond a Shadow of a doubt!!!”

Dog the Bounty Hunter Says Late Wife Would Approve of His Fiancé

When Dog the Bounty Hunter proposed to Francie Frane, many fans believed that this commitment came too soon after Beth’s passing. However, as Chapman and his daughters would explain, there is no timeline on grief or love. One of the many reasons why Chapman fell for Frane was because she experienced the loss of her own spouse, who passed away in December 2018 from cancer as well.

But it doesn’t seem like the two pay any attention to what people have to say about their relationship. All that matters to Dog the Bounty Hunter is how his children feel and what he believes Beth would think of Frane.

When Chapman first starting receiving backlash about his new relationship, his youngest daughter, Bonnie (21), came to his defense.

“Everyone who’s judging my father should sure pray that they never have to lose their loved one and get judged for trying to fill the void,” the 21-year-old wrote in the caption of one of her father’s Instagram photos.

“Your opinion is invalid. My mother would’ve wanted him to be happy. Now please shut up and let me my dad live in peace.”

Likewise, Dog the Bounty Hunter believes that Beth would even approve of Frane.

“I’ve said it before. There will never be another Mrs. Dog. There is not. Francie couldn’t do that. There will be a last Mrs. Chapman,” he shared. “If Beth was here, and saw Francie and saw how she was raised, her morality and this and that, Beth would say, ‘Big daddy, don’t lose her.'”
