During an exclusive sneak peek, Duck Dynasty star Korie Robertson revealed that she felt “helpless” while her pregnant daughter, Sadie, was hospitalized with COVID-19.
People shared a preview of next week’s At Home with the Robertsons episode. The new Facebook Watch series follows the Duck Dynasty family as they share their life with viewers. On next week’s show, Korie opens up about how difficult it was to leave Sadie on her own in the hospital.
“When Sadie got it being pregnant — and she was still in her first trimester, so still in that time when she was having morning sickness, dealing with fatigue — that was tough,” Korie said, according to People.
Strict COVID-19 protocols did not allow Sadie’s mother to accompany her daughter into the hospital. As soon as Sadie entered the hospital alone, Korie said she broke down crying.
“I drove her to the hospital and just dropped her off at the door,” Korie shared. “I remember as she walked in, I just started bawling in the car. It was really traumatic. To think of leaving my baby girl at the hospital by herself, with her being pregnant.”
“You feel really helpless when someone you love is in the hospital alone,” she added.
While the Duck Dynasty star and her unborn child made a full recovery, she did have some lingering symptoms. Sadie had a migraine-like headache and her throat was “red and on fire,” she said on her WHOA That’s Good podcast. Additionally, she dealt with brain fog, body aches, and a loss of taste and smell. However, thankfully she pulled through the scary experience.

‘Duck Dynasty’ Star’s Other Daughter, Bella, Hospitalized Earlier This Week
Willie and Korie Robertson‘s daughter, Bella, was hospitalized earlier this week for what she announced as a health “scare.” The Duck Dynasty stars’ daughter shared an update about her health on her Instagram story on Wednesday.
Bella said she “had a good scare this week that landed me here” in her post. In addition, she posted a photo of herself in a full medical gown with a mask below her chin. Her fiancé, Jacob Mayo, was at her side in the hospital. Although there have been no further updates or details shared since hopefully Bella is doing well after her scare.
A little over a week ago, Bella seemed like she was doing well and was definitely in high spirits. She posted a series of photos from what was presumably her wedding shower. She shared that she is “feeling completely showered with love and support by the amazing, amazing women in my life. Truly feel like the luckiest duck!”
The touching post included photos of her Duck Dynasty family and friends. Her mother, Korie Robertson, and sister, Sadie, were by her side just a week before her health issues.
