‘Duck Dynasty’: Sadie Robertson Huff Says Her ‘2013 Me Would Be Shook’ in Pic at the Lake With Husband Christian

by Quentin Blount

If you were to go back in time to 2013 and tell Duck Dynasty star Sadie Robinson Huff that she would be married to Christian Huff, she probably wouldn’t believe you.

Robertson told her fans and followers on Saturday evening that she spent some time going through her old Instagram posts. And like many other teenage girls her age, Robertson always made sure to post her Man Crush Monday or “MCM” on social media. For those who don’t know, Man Crush Monday refers to the social media trend where people post pictures and express their affection for attractive or admirable men on Mondays.

Now that she is married to Christian Huff, Robertson was probably a little embarrassed to go back and look at all of the old posts she made about her crushes. But she says that in the end, she married one “hotter” and “sweeter” than them all.

In addition to giving her hubby a shout-out on social media, the Duck Dynasty star also included a picture of the happy couple at the lake.

“We went through my old Instagram today and my 2013-year-old self did not miss a man crush Monday,” Robertson wrote. “I’m proud to say I married one hotter (& sweeter duh) than them all. 2013 me would be shook.”

Duck Dynasty Star is Thriving as a New Mom

Life is only getting better for Sadie Robertson Huff and the rest of the Duck Dynasty family. After giving birth to little Honey James back on May 11, friends, family, and fans have all been pouring in the love. And all the while, both Sadie and Honey are smiling and thriving. The new mom has still been trying to find the words to express what it feels like to be Honey’s mom.

“It’s been 2 weeks and I still haven’t found the words to use to express the love I feel for our sweet Honey,” Robertson wrote in an Instagram post earlier this week. “I don’t know that I ever will find the words, but I will chase after them my whole life!”

Alongside the touching tribute to her daughter, she gives credit to her religion and faith for helping transform her into the mother that she is.

“It’s amazing to look at these pictures and notice the way we look at our babu and think about the love that God has for us,” Robertson said. “The way he feels when he looks down at us with perfect love. The thought of perfect love has become completely overwhelming. Our love for Honey, although the strongest love we’ve felt, is flawed. It is tangled up with fear and our own selfish ways, yet it is all that we have girlfriend.”
