‘Duck Dynasty’ Star Sadie Robertson Uploads All-Smiles Pic of Honey James for Daughters’ Day

What’s better than seeing a happy and healthy Honey James on a Saturday night? Duck Dynasty star Sadie Robertson posted an update on her baby girl just a little while ago.

If you follow Duck Dynasty as closely as we do, then you’ll know that the daughter of Willie and Korie Robertson, Sadie, gave birth to her own daughter back in May. The 24-year-old is officially a mama to little Honey James and she has already had her fair share of battles. She battled COVID-19 back when she was pregnant. And we recently found out that Honey battled the difficult virus as well.

With all of that said, it was a joy to see Sadie Robertson’s latest update on Instagram. She posted a photo of her beautiful little girl on Saturday night in honor of National Daughters Day. It’s clear that Sadie, along with her husband Christian Huff, cherishes her little girl. Honey has brought so much love into their life.

Let’s not make any mistake here — Sadie Robertson doesn’t exactly need a reason to celebrate her baby girl. She does that all the time in her social media posts. But Saturday marked a special chance to pay some extra attention to little Honey and show her just how much everyone loves her. And to everyone’s relief, Honey looks happy and healthy in the photo.

“Happy #nationaldaughtersday to the girl who keeps me smiling this big! Honey J you are as sweet as they come!” Robertson captioned the adorable snap. “BEING YOUR MOM IS MY GREATEST JOB, MY GREATEST GIFT, AND MY GREATEST DREAM.”

Daughter of ‘Duck Dynasty’ Star Battled RSV

Sadie Robertson informed her 4.5 million followers on Instagram late last week that her daughter was in the hospital. After going through most of the experience in private, the Duck Dynasty star decided to share a photo of her and Honey snuggling together in a hospital bed alongside an intimate message.

“We have been walking through this privately,” Robertson began her post. “But I want to give y’all a window in because I know so many around the world are going through this.”

Honey James was fighting off RSV — otherwise known as Respiratory Syncytial Virus. It’s a common respiratory virus in babies that causes cold-like symptoms. And what Robertson said in the second half of her post is very true — There are a lot of other people in the world who have been in her shoes. According to Medscape, about 4-5 million children younger than four acquire an RSV infection each year.

“The past few days have been very tough,” the 24-year-old mother admitted. “Watching your child sick is one of the most heartbreaking things. Seeing her little struggle brings me to tears like I have never cried. But seeing her strength has given me smiles I have never smiled. The love I have for this girl is unmatched.”
