‘Duck Dynasty’ Star Jase Robertson Wishes Wife Missy ‘Happy Anniversary’ With Sweet Post: ‘Found Me a Good One’

by Michael Freeman

Duck Dynasty’s Jase Robertson and his wife, Missy, recently celebrated their 31st wedding anniversary.

Taking his happiness to Instagram, Jase quoted Bible Proverb 31:10-12, noting his wife was more valuable than rubies and brought him nothing but good.

The post has already accrued over 16,000 likes on Instagram, with followers showering the happy couple with congratulations comments and expressing joy for the anniversary.

This isn’t the first time Jase proudly proclaimed his love for Missy on social media for their anniversary. Just last year, he posted a picture on Twitter of the two kissing.

While Jase’s anniversary message was heartfelt this year and last, he’s had fun in the past with them too. A few years ago, Missy returned from a mission trip in Kenya and wasn’t feeling well. Recognizing this, Jase’s gift to her was both funny and sweet

The Couple’s History and Accomplishments

Incidentally, Jase met Missy in high school on a fake date purely to make his ex-girlfriend jealous. They later married in 1990 and Jase soon joined his father in the now-famous company, ‘Duck Commander.’

Jase was also one of the stars of Duck Dynasty, and funnily enough, never thought the show would become as popular as it was. He felt compared to most reality shows, his family was ‘pretty calm,’ so people wouldn’t want to watch.

However, people did watch and the show’s popularity has enabled him and his family to live quite well, as shown by his recent “Buck Truck” purchase.

Missy married Robertson when she was 19 and has been by his side ever since. She has contributed heavily to Duck Commander and is a firm believer in God, making Jase’s Bible quote all the more significant.

Missy even authored a book titled ‘Blessed, Blessed…Blessed,’ which talks about the challenges of raising a child born with a cleft lip and palate. She explains her faith in God helped her face the unexpected challenges of childrearing and realize how lucky her family truly is.

Additionally, Missy co-authored The Women of Duck Commander with Miss Kay, Phil Robertson’s wife. The book shares stories about the Robertson family, many of which had never been told before.

Jase and Missy also founded the Mia Moo Fund, a fund dedicated to giving financial assistance for cleft lip and palate treatments in children, as well as raise awareness about the ailment.

Together, the two of them regularly travel for hunting expeditions, as well as speaking engagements. They currently live in West Monroe, Louisiana with their three children: Cole, Mia, and Reed.
