Sadie Robertson Huff has officially passed the one-week mark since giving birth to her daughter, Honey James. And the Duck Dynasty star’s mom tells her followers on social media that “life is good.”
It has without a doubt been a lively first week in the Duck Dynasty households. It has been one week and one day since Sadie and her husband, Christian, announced that they were officially parents. Sadie Robertson gave birth to the couple’s first child, Honey James Huff, on Tuesday, May 11.
But as most parents can probably relate, the first few weeks with a newborn won’t allow the parents for much sleep! Sadie Robertson and Christian Huff are certainly no exception. So, it’s nice that Sadie has her mom by her side to lean on whenever she needs to. And as most grandmas can probably relate, they will take the opportunity to love on their new grandbaby whenever they get the chance.
In fact, Korie Robertson posted two new photos to her Instagram account on Wednesday. In the cute pictures, the Duck Dynasty mama is all smiles while holding little Honey James. Sadie and Christian are smiling as they usually do as well, but it is easy to see that the new parents could use a nap!
“Living the dream,” Korie Robertson wrote on Instagram. “1 week and 1 day with our Honey girl, and life is good!”
Meanwhile, Duck Dynasty fans know just how lucky Sadie is to have her mom helping during these first few weeks.
“There’s nothing like having your Mom by your side to help after having a baby,” one fan commented.
‘Duck Dynasty’ Star Takes Daughter Out for ‘First Family Outing’
Duck Dynasty’s Sadie Robertson was up and at ’em just six days after giving birth to her baby girl. The 23-year-old took to her official Instagram account to post an adorable from her first family outing with little Honey.
Before heading back to the hospital to surprise their delivery nurses with gifts, Sadie, Christian, and Honey made a quick stop to see John Luke Robertson as his new Railway Coffee Shop.
“First family outing to @johnluke_robertson coffee shop and then on to the hospital to bring our amazing nurses and doctor some gifts,” the Duck Dynasty star wrote.
“Seriously, we couldn’t be more grateful for them showing us God’s love in how they served us with such grace and kindness at our stay! Making the most special time even more special. Doing your job for the glory of God makes a difference and they sure did make a difference in our lives!”
