Korie Robertson and the rest of the Duck Dynasty family has plenty to be thankful for these days. One of her daughters is engaged and getting married soon, while another is pregnant and close to giving birth to her first child. Korie shared a recent photo of two of her daughters on Instagram and called it her “favorite new memory.”
Willie and Korie Robertson’s daughter, Sadie, and her husband, Christian Huff, are expecting their first baby girl very soon. In another recent post, Korie announced that their child could be born any day now. So it sounds like the Robertson family will have a new addition in the near future.
Additionally, the Duck Dynasty stars’ other daughter, Bella, is engaged to fiancé Jacob Mayo. The couple hasn’t revealed a wedding date. However, the picture Korie shared of her daughters are from recent bridal portraits. Additionally, Korie mentioned that Bella is “about to walk down the aisle” in her post. So we can assume their wedding will happen sooner rather than later.
The photo Korie shared shows Sadie with her baby bump on full display. The intimate family photo shows Sadie doing her sister Bella’s makeup for her bridal portraits. The moment obviously warmed their mother’s heart as she expressed her love for it in her post.
“SISTERS. One about to have her own baby girl and one about to walk down the aisle to the man of her dreams. Sadie did Bella’s makeup for some bridal portraits today. And even though I’m still trying to figure out how this happened, this moment right here just might be my new favorite memory,” Korie Robertson wrote on Instagram.
“One of my new favorites too,” Sadie commented underneath the post.
‘Duck Dynasty’ Star’s Daughter Defends Choice to Get Married at an Early Age
Although it’s nothing but love in the Robertson household, not everyone agreed with Bella’s decision to get married at 18 years old. The youngest daughter of the Duck Dynasty family accepted Jacob Mayo’s proposal for her hand in marriage late last year. However, the couple has faced some backlash for their decision.
The couple had been dating for about six months before Jacob popped the question. That said, the two have been friends for years, dating back to their grade school days. But that hasn’t stopped critics online for deeming their engagement a rash decision.
Bella spoke out against said critics in an Entertainment Tonight interview back in December. She defended their decision saying that it was her choice and that many people in her family have gotten married early in life.
“We started dating because he came home from college to be here for quarantine, and that’s been a big factor,” she told Entertainment Tonight. “I don’t know if normally I would have gotten engaged to someone after six months, if we would have just met and started dating, you know? But on top of that, in the south so many people get married so young. Like, my parents got married at 18, my brother got married at 18, my grandparents married at 18. It’s very common around here so it didn’t really shock me too much about my age.”
