‘Duck Dynasty’: Willie & Korie Robertson’s Daughter Bella Hospitalized With Health ‘Scare’

by Jon D. B.

Bella Robertson, daughter to “Duck Dynasty”s Willie & Korie, is in the hospital Thursday after what she describes as a health “scare.”

Posting to her Instagram stories mid-Wednesday, young Bella says she “had a good scare this week that landed me here.”

Within, she posts a photo of herself in full hospital gown, with a medical mask below her chin. At her side is Robertson’s fiance, Jacob Mayo, to whom she says “I could not love you more.”

The “Duck Dynasty” heiress sent the update out to her 570k followers almost 24 hours ago. In the time since, Bella hasn’t made any further details known, nor have members of her family. We hope a speedy recovery and hopeful diagnosis is in store for Ms. Robertson.

Just one week ago, Bella shared via her official Instagram that she is “feeling completely showered with love and support by the amazing, amazing women in my life. truly feel like the luckiest duck!”

The lovely post, full of photos of her friends and “Duck Dynasty” family, including mother Korie Robertson and sister Sadie, was the last Bella made before her health “scare” update Wednesday.

“Love love love!!” her mother, Korie, commented on the photo.

‘Duck Dynasty’s Bella to Marry Jacob Mayo

Bella Robertson and Jacob Mayo are, in fact, engaged. As for Robertson herself, Bella grew up in West Monroe, Louisiana with her “Duck Dynasty” siblings: sister Sadie, brothers John Luke, Willie Alexander, and Rowdy, 17.

The youngest Roberston daughter, Bella is a student at Liberty University’s online division. Previously, she was publicly dating “Full House” star Candace Cameron Bure’s son Lev, 20.

Now, Bella is madly in love with – and will marry Jacob Mayo. The two have been dating since mid-2020, and Mayo declared his intention to marry Robertson in November that year. Bella herself is only 18-years-old.

The “Duck Dynasty” star, however, sees no issue with marriage at 18. in a recent December interview with ET, Bella defends her decision to marry. For the southern girl, she cites her age is “very common around here” when it comes to weddings.

“I think in the south, so many people get married so young like my parents got married at 18,” she told Entertainment Tonight. My brother got married at 18. My grandparents married at 18. Like, I think it’s very common around here. So it really didn’t like shock me too much about my age.”
