Dwayne Johnson Shows Off Monster Bass from His Farm: ‘Spend Time with My Babies’

You may or may not know this, but Dwayne Johnson makes around $1 million per Instagram post. Some of his social media posts are certainly more straightforward advertisements. However, others seem to be less advertisement-based and more geared towards having fun.

Two days ago, on June 2, “The Rock” made a trip to his family farm. Of course, the farm had plenty of things to do on it. He got to go fishing in the farm’s pond.

Dwayne Johnson posted a short video on his Instagram about fishing the pond. He caught what he described in the video as a six to eight-pound largemouth bass. If there is any indication of how big the fish is, it would be that the fish makes “The Rock’s” hands look small.

After he tells his fans about the fish, he delves into how much he feeds them. He also explained that a local University sends professors out to monitor the health of the fish in the pond. All in all, it looks like an awesome spot to go fishing.

Along with the video that he posted, he wrote a short blurb about his time on the farm. He said, “So good to get away to my farm this past weekend to decompress, take mental inventory, and of course – spend time with my babies.”

Dwayne Johnson Spent Some Time Fishing at His Farm’s Pond

Dwayne Johnson then explained that he has been raising fish in the pond for over ten years. He noted that the pond is full of largemouth bass, striped bass, trout, carp, and sunfish.

“The Rock” clarified the work that professors do on his farm pond. He said that he works “closely with a great team of university biologists ensuring a thriving ecosystem for the fish to live.”

But he wasn’t finished there, he still had more to share about the farm. “The Rock” dove into what it is like raising the fish and why he does it.

“All my fish are fat, healthy, happy, and AGGRESSIVE TO EAT – like their owner,” Dwayne Johnson said. “I fell in love with fishing when I was a little boy, so quiet time like this away from the noise means everything to me. Grateful. And a little reminder to all you guys of the importance of ‘self-care.’”

This farm sounds like an awesome place for a getaway from the pressures of everyday life. Who doesn’t love to go fish for 8-pound largemouth bass?
