Wolfgang Van Halen, the son of late guitar legend Eddie Van Halen, is once again standing up to haters online.

The conversation started with a tweet that Valerie Bertinelli, the former wife of Eddie Van Halen and mother of Wolf, responded to. It was insinuating she knew the day that Wolf was conceived.

Commenters were responding with things like “Not sure Wolf really wants to know this” and “maybe he already does.”

Wolf then responded to let people know he was aware of how pregnancy works. He also said in another tweet that “not everyone I respond to is a hater.”

Wolf Van Halen is incredibly active on Twitter. Recently he’s also been sharing a lot of updates regarding his band, Mammoth WVH. The newest information is that fans can now preorder his upcoming album that will be released June 6, 2021. It will automatically unlock his other two songs, “Distance” and “You’re to Blame.”

Eddie Van Halen and Valerie Bertinelli

Eddie Van Halen passed away on October 6, 2020, after a long battle with cancer. Bertinelli and Van Halen were married until 2007 and they had Wolf in 1991.

Wolf and his mother remain close. In fact, her twitter name is even @Wolfiesmom.

Bertinelli is an actress best known for her role as Barbara on “One Day at a Time.” She was also on “Hot in Cleveland” and “Touched by an Angel.” Now she has been spending her time hosting cooking shows like “Valerie’s Home Cooking” and “Kids Baking Championship.”

The couple divorced partially due to Van Halen’s addiction to cocaine and his refusal to quit smoking, despite being diagnosed with oral cancer.

According to an interview on the Today show, she and her son are spending a lot of time together especially since his father’s death. She admitted it has been hard to accept Van Halen’s death.

“It’s hard. I’ve gone to text to text him a few dozen times. I was like, ‘Oh, I can’t text him right now.’ “

On the day of his death, she also posted a sweet picture of the three of them when Wolf was first born.

Wolf Van Halen: ‘Distance’

Recently, Wolf released “Distance,” a song for his father. Eddie Van Halen heard it right before his death in October.

“I’m so nervous / Don’t know my place / A life without you / I’m not ready to move on / No matter what the distance is, I will be with you / No matter what the distance is, you’ll be okay.”

The emotional song reached No. 1 on both MediaBase and BDS Active Radio Charts. After a lot of support and popularity, the song will be featured on his upcoming self-titled album.

“The response to ‘Distance’ has been incredibly overwhelming. The immense support from everyone at radio who played the song and all of the fans who called requesting it has been more than I could have imagined. Thank you to everyone who helped me get my first #1 song,” he said according to People.

Wolf is donating proceeds to the song to Mr. Holland’s Opus charity. It helps low-income students and schools get the instruments they need to have proper music education.

The album will have 14 songs, all written, sang, and performed by Van Halen himself.
