Are you in the market for a piece of music history? Are you a fan of the one and only Elvis Presley? If the answer to either one of those questions is yes, you are in luck.

According to an article by ClassicCountryMusic.com, a vehicle once owned by the King of Rock ‘n’ Roll himself will soon be for sale. That vehicle is a 1967 GMC pickup truck. It is green and is reportedly one of three vehicles Elvis Presley bought on Feb. 7, 1967, from Guy Caldwell Motors in Senatobia, Mississippi.

It was a colorful day for Elvis. In addition to the green truck, he also purchased a blue vehicle and a red vehicle. The trucks were bought to be used at the singer’s Circle G Ranch property in Horn Lake, Mississippi.

After belonging to Elvis Presley, the green 1967 GMC pickup truck was also owned by a few different individuals, according to the article. In 1986, it was bought so it could be displayed in a museum dedicated to the legendary singer. Since that time it has been available for view in Niagara Falls, Canada; Virginia Beach, Virginia; Myrtle Beach, South Carolina; as well as Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge in Tennessee.

Blake Shelton Drives Truck that Once Belonged to Elvis Presley

In recent years, the truck’s owners moved it from Pigeon Forge to Georgia. There, restoration on the truck began. In fact, the truck’s dashboard has been autographed by Jay Leno and Blake Shelton. According to the article, the truck was driven by Shelton during an episode of “Jay Leno’s Garage.”

When Leno reveals to Shelton that he is actually driving a truck that belonged to Elvis Presley, Shelton reacted with appropriate shock. “What, really? You’re kidding me!” he said. “I love that! … Wow! That’s pretty crazy!”

Leno then shares details about how Elvis Presley purchased the truck and why he did so.

Elvis Gave Away Many Cadillacs Before He Died

Elvis Presley was a man who loved cars. He was particularly fond of Cadillacs and saw them as a symbol of style and success. And after he became successful, he was known for giving Cadillacs to those he cared about. He even reportedly gave Cadillacs to total strangers.

The singer’s generosity was documented in the film “200 Cadillacs” by Rex Fowler.

“It’s hard to get an actual number,” Fowler said. “There are people in Elvis’s inner circle who say it wasn’t anything like 200. But others say it was at least that many or more. I don’t think we’ll ever know.”

Furthermore, the first Cadillac Elvis Presley gave away went to his mother in 1955 after he had his first hit.
