It has been almost an entire decade since Paul Walker passed away. Now, his Fast and Furious costar Vin Diesel is proving that whole “family” thing. The actor recently walked Walker’s daughter, Meadow down the aisle at her wedding. Now, fans are understandably emotional.

It is a bit misty over on social media if you are looking at the Vin Diesel trending tab. While Diesel and others have claimed their closeness with the late Walker, this is a healthy reminder it isn’t just talk. Fans looked at the pictures from Meadow’s wedding and were overtaken with emotion.

The pictures on social media look awesome. It appears that they did a beach venue and the water in the background is beautiful. This is a great moment and seriously an awesome thing to see from Vin Diesel. An actor known for being tough and rough around the edges, seeing a different side of him is always interesting.

Another user on Twitter reacted to the news of seeing Diesel at the wedding. “Vin Diesel walking Paul walker’s daughter down the [aisle] in place of him and captioning it “you don’t turn your back on family” was the most EMOTIONAL THING I have ever read I need a moment”

Back in 2013, Meadow was just 15 years old when her father passed away. Now, eight years later, her relationship with her father’s friends is something wonderful to see. The 54-year-old actor is Meadow’s godfather so it makes sense that he walked her down the aisle.

Meadow has never shied away from her last name and her father’s legacy. She has worked to keep that legacy alive and to invest in projects to bring more good into the world such as her foundation. It was not long ago that Meadow had shared her engagement to Louis Thornton-Allan, now the two have officially tied the knot.

Vin Diesel Makes Headlines at Wedding

At Meadow’s wedding, the guest list was very limited. Walker and Thornton-Allan were married in the Dominican Republic and there were some changes made due to COVID-19 restrictions. So, the guest list had to be cut up and made smaller than originally intended.

“The pandemic impacted our plans. Louis’s family wasn’t able to attend. A lot of close friends whom we consider family were also unable to attend due to travel restrictions,” Meadow said to Vogue. However, things went great. “We couldn’t have imagined it to be any more perfect and personal – and honestly it was easy and simple. Louis and I knew exactly what we wanted from the start. It was a very intimate celebration.”

It seemed like a very intimate affair. With Vin Diesel wearing a powder blue suit he looked like a bodyguard on double duty at the wedding. Walker’s dress was very simple and modest as well. However, it was far from modest in the making of the dress. Matthew Williams of Givenchy Haute Couture put the silk dress together.

How about those pictures? Vin Diesel knows how to turn heads. Jumping from an explosion or walking his friend’s daughter down the aisle. He does it all.
