FBI star Alana De La Garza gushed about getting to work with Jeremy Sisto again after her Law & Order days. De La Garza originally played Connie Rubirosa on Law & Order and now plays Isobel Castille on FBI. She worked with Jeremy Sisto for years before getting to reunite on FBI.

The two are among the multiple actors who’ve starred in a previous Dick Wolf franchise series who’ve been hired on to act in another. Former Law & Order actress S. Epetha Merkersen, for instance, is in Chicago Med, which is also run by Dick Wolf.

When asked about what her favorite moments were from filming FBI in an interview with Starry Mag, Alana De La Garza had a heartwarming response.

“I would say just hanging out with the people that you love. COVID has made some really interesting challenges that you didn’t expect to have – like the holidays (not being able to travel and be with my family). I think you appreciate it that much more,” she said.

Having someone like Jeremy Sisto on set really helped her with that. The two spent a lot of important years together.

“Jeremy Sisto and I are friends anyway from our years on “Law and Order.” That’s where we first met. We both got married around the same time and had our kids around the same time. So, we were able to eat our Thanksgiving together. It was wonderful because we have kids who are a year apart,” she explained.

COVID-19 Made Alana De La Garza Appreciate the Closeness of the ‘FBI’ Cast Even More

With COVID-19 putting a damper on people’s plans, Alana De La Garza and Jeremy Sisto stepped up to the occasion. The two had done holidays together before, so with some added safety precautions, they did so again.

“We made everyone take a test and said, “This is our extended family for this Thanksgiving.” It was great because we had each other and that was something that was really special. To work with people that you actually love to hang out with is something we all need, especially now, and I’m super appreciative of,” she finished.

Alana De La Garza and the rest of the cast definetly experienced quite a shake-up when COVID hit, but they were able to find ways to stay together and support eachother when things were at their worst. It’s perhaps why the cast has so much natural on-screen chemistry; they’re all close in real life.

If you want to catch new episodes of FBI, tune in to CBS any Tuesday night at 9/8 Central. FBI also airs alongside the two other series in the franchise, FBI: Most Wanted, which Alana De La Garza has appeared on multiple times, and the all new FBI international.
