Following her return to the small screen as part of a fundraising telethon for the LA LGBT Center, former NCIS star Pauley Perrette shared a touching video thanking her fans for their support.

According to Express, the NCIS alum shared with viewers of California’s KTLA during the event, “I’ve been a part of the LGBT center as a supporter [and] as a donor for a really long time. And it makes me really proud. It makes me really happy. And I’m asking you to join us. Join us in changing lives, in saving lives, and in supporting the people that really need our help. From out LGBT youth, our elderly LGBT, and everything in between – healthcare.”

Perrette also added that this year has been really hard. The center has been there in every way for people who needed help. “It will never stop giving help to those who need it.”

Following the event, The LA LGBT Center took to its Twitter feed to thank the former NCIS star for her special appearance during the telethon. Thank you #PauleyP for lending your voice and energy to tonight’s #LoveInAction telethon! We can feel your #love and #compassion! We can’t wait to see you again in person.”

The NCIS alum then responded to the tweet by sharing on her own Twitter account, “Always. Love you all. Thanks to everyone who supported tonight. God Bless the @LALGBTCenter.”

‘NCIS’ Alum Pauley Perrette Revealed She’s Retiring From Acting

Over a year before her appearance at the LA LGBT telethon, NCIS alum Pauley Perrette announced on Twitter that she was officially retiring from acting. “I’M NOT ON FB or IG, THIS Twitter account here @PauleyP is my ONLY ONE! I’m HAPPILY RETIRED! Finally! Woot!”

The former NCIS star also stated that retiring was all she ever wanted along with raising rescue dogs and plants. She does admit that she “retired” after NCIS but BROKE was important and beautiful to her. “I did my last dance & am proud of my work. I love you guys! And I AM FREE!!!! (To be the tiny little simple human I am!)

Upon leaving NCIS, Perrette didn’t officially reveal the specific reason for her departure, but she hinted in a Twitter post. “I refused to go low That’s why I’ve never told publicly what happened. But there are tabliod articles there that are telling total lies about me,” the tweet reads. “If you believe them? Please leave me alone. You clearly don’t know me.”

In a separate tweet, Perrette does say by not telling the truth, she feels like she’s protecting the NCIS crew, jobs, and many others. “But at what cost I don’t know. Just know, I’m trying to do the right thing. But maybe silence isn’t the right thing about crime. I’m… Just…?”
